  I often find that a toilet seat is cold and sends shivers up my back.

  I believe its possible to get cushioned toilet seats with built in heating for those unwelcome cold mornings. Combined with under-rim forced extraction ventilation for those mornings-after-the-night-before, the bathroom can be made a more pleasant and comfortable place!
