Just a reminder that the Swindon & Cricklade Railway Steam Gala featuring Met 1 and GWR 5637 is this weekend (26-27 April). The following weekend (3-5 May) Met 1 will be at the Didcot Railway Centre Great Western and Metropolitan Railways Steam Gala, where it will run with 'Main Line and City' coach No. 3755

According to the latest issue of 'Heritage Railway' on the Hammersmith 150 days, the train starts at Northfields on the Piccadilly Line. Presumably the train will be based at Northfields depot.

Slightly off topic, but it is an LT liveried loco. South Devon Railway based London Transport pannier tank no. L92 will be visiting the Great Central Railway's Swithland Gala on 10th & 11th May, along with Lambton Tank no. 29 from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Nope wasn't me, I was at work today. I've seen in the latest Steam Railway magazine that there is an advert for the Didcot Railway Center Steam Gala on 3-5 May and it states that Met 1 is visiting.

According to comments on the Heljan facebook page it's expected October/November.

I'm hoping that if Bachmann don't announce a coach pack to add to the Shakespeare Express train pack that someone will commission one. At least two MK2 TSOs and a BSO in chocolate and cream would give a believable Tyseley set.
