It's quite rare I see a freight come from the top-left corner of the webcam (the line to Landshut) my Schweers + Wall atlas says there is a BMW plant near Dingolfing, so maybe this came from there? I can't make out what the containers say.

Thanks for the interesting information! What's the difference between a 90 and a 60 please? Are the 90s the larger shunters?

Plattling seems to have been down to only 4 shunters for some time now. Maybe 1 is in for repair, or maybe one of the nearby freight terminals has less use for them? But the yard seems to be as busy as usual.

this came from the top-left line (which eventually goes to Munich) of the webcam. it's quite rare there freight comes from that direction

I don't know why it hasn't occured to me to search for Plattling on youtube in ages, but it did today. Happy New Year!

a nice wintery scene at Plattling this morning. This was an odd freight train as it had a locomotive at each end (this is the rear locomotive). The consist was flat empty container wagons I think. Coal trains sometimes have a lok at both ends, but not other ones.

Olten webcam is back up, Plattling is still down. Whenever Olten doesn't work, I always hope it is because they are moving back into the old wonderful position, but they never do

the upper half of Plattling webcam still works for me, although it doesn't refresh. Where did you here it had been taken down? I can't understand why anyone would complain about it, are people supposed to close their eyes when they look out of the window?! Hope it comes back, I love Plattling webcam

there's currently enough snow reflecting the light, that the night-vision hasn't turned itself on! Rare nighttime view of Plattling now live!

I think it must have been a stock move as it waited for a freight train to leave before it and it was at 8:18 local time! I think you are correct about the lok, although the webcam image has slightly different headlight arrangement. Maybe it is some derivative of the one you posted?
