  2. Almost completed a couple of pill boxes, need lamps and transfers. A question; regarding newspaper and parcel traffic, not all inner suburban stations would have this traffic, the ones that did, i expect it was early morning. 5. Hi Guys Upper level finished now, and attention turns to street level. The unfinished building bottom left is going to be a replacement hut built after bomb damage to the original, based on Wapping on the E.L.L. of which I only have one photo. I could mug it, but can anyone direct me to more photos of Wapping. Useless info; Wapping was Saxon for riverside marsh land. Cheers stay safe etc.

  7. This is the last chance to get a view from this angle as the down station buildings are about to be stuck in place. Ballasting to finish and weather, not my fav job!
  8. Sorry, I should have said taken at W'ton. I took snaps of every item of rolling stock that day. It was very sunny which made some photography difficult. Ian B
  9. Much better without the gable, I'm not always keen on low relief buildings, but on a 1' wide board they are a necessity.
  10. Hi Ray, Thanks for that, I haven't been to Deptford for years, the last time would be about 1981 when we brought coal from the N.E. to Deptford East Power Station, which I think was the last of the three still in commission. Our usual discharges were Tilbury, W. Turrock and Kingsnorth. I guess it's all greatly changed now! Cheers Ian B
  11. Some progress with the coal yard, I'm sure you will recognise the source of the buildings. I need a break from building the layout, time to start on that Roxey NOL, anyone out there built one, I'll bet there is, wanna show and tell?
