      If extending the copyright keeps the music from being used on schitty adverts, then I'm all for it.

      Just means that the advertisers pay slightly more to use the music and the product costs slightly more to buy.

       

      Of course, just for transparency, remastering might also be done to remove overcompression that wrecks the sound quality.
