  12. Final tweeks for this weekend mostly replacing the cosmetic point levers that always get wiped out at shows generally during track cleaning sessions. Gone are are the weak etched ones, they're now painted piano wire, designed to inflict pain on who ever cleans the track and ries to remove them. Owch!

Curiously in TV broadcasting MAc was very big in the 1980's.

Now everything is PC based (well on the user end), and in it's defence

it never falls over. I'm increasingly in publishing so might as well follow

the MAC throng seeing mummy has said yes. The screens are paricularly good,

but they even makde rubbish look good which may or may not be a good thing

      when appraising images!

I'm using what the lovely Mr Roxey sold me. It actually runs very well - weighs a ton - but needs too!

  19. I think it's time to pension off my 5 year old Vaio - I've owned many computers over the years and this one has never missed a beat. Sadly the USM ports are worn out and with a few more pixels in the pipleline something a little more manly will be required. Probably a another Vaio! A Mac would be nice but then none of my software would work, and anyway, I'm tight.

I run computers until they die. My desktop PC will be 10 next year, and my oldest laptop 9. Agree with you on Mac bores - although I've used Macs and don't have anything against them.
