Not yet mate, got new central heating going in next month, in the planning stages to make it a roundy roundy. Filling in the time by doing a few triple grey Transrail locos!

Picked up their limited edition EWS 66050 at Warley, weathered edition, definitely the best weathering I have seen, and the staff are friendly too!

I have heard or read there is somewhere in the region of 200. Thanks to OS maps i managed to locate a great deal of them, its interesting the many variations between them, especially the chimneys

The glazing is the main point that puts me off the Vitains 47s, Brians laserglaze makes them a lot better, losing that prism effect, must try a pick one up and have a go myself
That is quality weathering on the 09, faded appearance is top notch, might have to pop to Modelzone in Brum to see if theres any left at that price!

Cheers Vac Basher, looks like both in light blue pre 1990 then. Also plan to do 50026 and 032 (a popular choice!) in early NSE. 13 Vacs and counting!

I plan to do 50005 and 041 in Revised NSE (renumbered from 045) however, did they both receive the darker blue? I think 005 did but not sure about 041? and did 005 carry the crest below the nameplate on this version?
