All very good points. I can fully understand the extra restrictions on overtaking and pit lane protocol in a degraded situation. Seems at odds though with allowing pit crew to be climbing the fence etc to celebrate a winning driver screaming past at 200mph in normal circumstances. Maybe they will clamp down on that too?

Remember despite all the hoo har of Abu Dhabi, Lewis lost the 2021 title in Baku when he went all out for first place at the restart and ended up with null point. Those 18 points for second would have meant he could have cruised round in Abu Dhabi waving at the crowd. Every point may count at the end of the season.

That's contractual with Sky, something like they have to show X number of minutes of pre/post for Y number of minutes of action.

IF I were to buy a DC controller I'd go for a Morley, if only for the H&M style speed/direction control. Always hated using a controller with a separate direction switch.
