Sure, none of the buildings are "planted" yet apart from the middle board platform
-
Good enough for me
-
looking at all the preserved GWR coaches, can't find one of them with the brown below the rainstrip, so I'll go with all
whitedirty grey -
Considering how dirty the roof will be I'm not sure if you'd tell
-
wait until I try to match up the join to the next baseboard
Yes Staffordshire clouds in a GWR setting, they must be on holiday .......
-
Looks great Redgate! When you come to sourcing transfers for the lettering & monogramme's, take a look at the range from CPL. In my opinion they are a big impovement on the HMRS offerings.
Dave
I already have a sheet of HMRS pressfix - bought 2nd hand for 5 quid
-
Lovely, always fancied doing one of these mesself ever since getting a copy of "Deltics - a symposium" at the tender age of 16
-
not flippin likely, this looks like driving me mad in 7mm!
Thanks for the kind words
-
I've only got the standard (0.34mm head) so will get some Humbrol 83 and use that. I can live without the brown line
-
I think the gold will be pushing my skills right to the ragged edge - Got a Bob Moore pen, but will be using it in anger for the first time on this coach ......
will practice on the unassembled S9 sides first methinks
-
what about the ducket ends (with the windows), can't make it out from the pics
-
I've ordered some insect netting from Amazon, lets see how it looks
-
Hi Dave,
black or brown ends?
-
Looks good, I'll be in the real location come 'Obby 'Oss
-
hmmmm
I recon I need about a 0.5mm mesh/netting
I'll keep my eyes open on my travels
-
Compliments indeed from a top modeller The racks are VERY fiddly even in 7mm, Kenton won't approve but I superglued them together though!
Still on the lookout for some fine mesh for the netting

I forgot the Lake too for the window frames .....although I might have some old LMS Lake that might stand brushing on .....
-
