  8. the nearest i came to was a small dalek produced as a toy, it was kinda like kinder eggs, they were sold at tescos in a box and you didnt know what was inside until you opened it, luck was on my side and i got a gold dalek, cut of its stand upto the base of the dalek and you have a roughly 1:76 scale dalek. looks good next to the tardis! ill post a picture later today
  9. get to work to find 47500 ticking over outside my box. and its too dark to take a picture!

  13. i have always thought one day there would be a o gauge loco that's swing me into o gauge, this may just be it. that looks awesome!
  14. my moneys on either colas or harry needle getting some, maybe heavy haul or drs aswell. i cant see them being cut up. if they are i think that'll spell the end of my interest in the current railway seen. hopefully the class 60 preservation group will have enough funds for one aswel. following the cl58 group.
  15. dont be so sure on the 60's going for scrap. there are alot of ex brush people and ex EWS drivers working for other companies that could use them.

  16. this is a bit much ent it? especially for a lima wagon? id rather have a couple of Bachmann ones myself!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LIMA-BOGIE-BOLSTER-RARE-DETAILED-WEATHERING-/220655464530?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models
  17. thanks guys. i have seen a few images in books dated 1981. that'll do me. i fancy building a few so my excuse is that BR kept hold of a few due to problems with the new wagons.
  18. hi im after some info on prestwin wagons (the Dapol kit wagon or wrenn one), what id like to know is, when was the last of these withdrawn from service? what did they carry? were they all painted bauxite? were the unloaded the same was as presflo's, using air? what was their main area of operation or were they pretty much country wide? and are there any decent colour images online some place? thanks in advance. dan
  19. this guy cant seriously expect some of his prices to sell. and his postage rates. id expect them to be delivered personally by the chief exec of royal mail for that price!
  20. my pet hate word being used again wrongly: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item335fd8f3e1 "rare version without tanks" hardly rare at all, arnt these the one the shops were lumbered with as they had no tanks? theres atleast two more on ebay and on hattons special offers page! and as for these, call me crazy but i like them in this livery!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OO-GAUGE-Hornby-REPAINTED-HST-BODY-DUMMY-POWER-CAR-/180542965177?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2a093305b9
