  1. Especially too as the Platform 5 book of locomotives for 2009 has them as reserving Class 68.....
  2. Excellent Don, I've just looked it out on a map.... Perhaps we should change the Oktas measurement to a measurement of how much Table "Cloth" is covering of a morning?? mmmmmm.... holiday..... Thats the sort of stuff my dreams are made of!
  3. Morning Don - No Sorry, that was Tuesday Night down at the lifeboats. Tonight's MRC night 2 of the week If you don't mind me asking Don, which area of South Africa do you live in ?
  4. Good Morning All, Mild here this morning, on this southern fringe of Hampshire! All 8 Oktas in attendance but not leaking at present. It's Thursday today folks! We're now tantalisingly close to the weekend, just hand in there! Is there any "Pre-Warley" exhibitions this weekend??
  5. Yes thats right John, completely seperate from the RNLI. No government funding, completely run on contributions. Well, I guess Fareham has a little bit of water - in POrtsmouth Harbour right up the top left!
  6. It was indeed John, what a lovely bunch of people they were! And from the point of view of a sailor, and a techno-junkie they've got some really swanky "toys" up on their bridge / control room
  7. Good Morning All! Things here a little warmer, and a lot drier than this time yesterday, thankfully for the cycle into work! Presently it's all 8 oktas here, overcast but dry at present! Sorry to hear of the car window SixOh, I hope everyone else had a good last evening, the Scouts and I were out having a tour of the Local Lifeboat station, which I found particularly interseting (I hope the kids did too! ) Good luck today Mike, I hope that everyone else has a good day too, no plans for this evening thankfully!
  8. So you've lived in Gosport too then, Jam?? !!
  9. Jam, I'm sorry to be the bearer of Bad News... but having just cycled in to work through it... errr... yes.. it is as chilly as it looks! Good Morning Everyone! Installed here comfortably in my nice warm office. It's all 8 oktas outside here and they are leaking with gay abandon! Cycling in today consisted of nicking (oops - borrowing!! ) Dad's High-Vis full weatherproof coat! I am really suprised to find the Scouting - or Ex-Scouting contingent on here yesterday, I'm glad I'm not alone! Have a good Tuesday everyone, and do your best to stay dry today! Graham
  10. Alas here in the UK the sock top - colours have gone. Woggles are still going, and are actually quite good fun if you can find someone who will mould you plastic - or can emboss leather, and so yes, some do collect them
  11. All 1960's UK Scout Uniform jokes aside, now we have Trousers predominantly Don - but Scouts do have an option to wear shorts if they so wish - anyone who would have worn shorts yesterday and not collapsed I would have given an award too!
