  1. Good Morning All, No Oktas in attendance here in Gosport, and so was accordingly chilly this morning when I cycled into work. The weekend was good fun, even if the weather that supported it here was abysmal! Still, as was mentioned earlier, the heaving rain made for perfect Formula One watching weather! Jam! It's nice to see you back and I'm glad that you had such an excellent time away. I have flown over the Yorkshire Dales a good few times in the last year - in my journeys to Scotland and back, but never stoped in them myself. The montage you posted looks very nice! I hope everyone else had a good weekend. Robert, I do rather feel for you at this time. Having split up at the beginning of '08 my Ex then passed on at the end of October 08 - aged 19 and leaving a 2 year old daughter behind, so this week I haven't been the happiest bear in the house, however life must go on, allowing time for reflection of course. Have a good Monday all (well as good as Mondays get, anyway! )
  2. Good Morning All, Hear hear to all those who are thanking that it's Friday! Things here are hopefully better than yesterday! What a day... I hope that everyone has good weekends planned! I shall be in the Costa del Gosport all weekend...! Have a Good one!
  3. Good Morning All, Everything here is just the usual, 8/8 cloud cover and overcast, threatening rain by the look of it. But, at least the unseasonal temperature is holding up quite well, making the cycle to work quite pleasant this week! I hope everyone has a good day!
  4. Aaaaahhhh..... I'm glad to hear it was a good weekend John, need we form and dispatch a search party for Jam??
  5. Good Afternoon All, Humble apologies for the leave of Absence from ER's - What with Weymouth last weekend, and Friday & Monday off work I wasn't doing too much ER'ing... Then when the office beckoned again yesterday it's been a manic couple of days! The weather hear is moderately warm, and dry, 7 Oktas and a good outlook all week (I bet that doesn't include Saturday though!!) I admit to not reading the catch-up pages, but is Jam enjoying the north, and did JohnDMJ enjoy Eurospoor?? Best Wishes to everyone! Graham
  6. Hello Everyone, well, Gary and I are safely back from Weymouth (and the layout too!), It has been a fantastic weekend, the Weymouth show by comparison is not the biggest of shows, but it serves its purpose well. The people are wonderful and the layout ran without error. It;s been a really great weekend - even the wee lasses celebrating a birthday in Weatherspoons were nice too! I parted with a little bit of money, a GWR green railbus "thing" took my fancy, along with a couple of N Gauge busses and some different colours of cable.... nothing too elaborate this weekend - it's Warley soon!! Ah well, one last switch to rewire and other than that Scotts Quay Pier will be out at Scout Rail 2010 in Kidlington. Please see the Gallery for some Weymouth Photos! Edit: OK - I've actually managed to get the Weymouth photos up in the Gallery Now!
  7. Good morning everyone! Sorry about being a little late on parade... it's all becasue I've taken the day off, so I'm not posting from my office either today... I hope everyone has a good weekend too, I doubt I'll be on here much after this morning as I'll be down at the Weymouth Exhibition with SQP... Which will make for a great weekend! Oh - did I mention there is an exhibition in Weymouth this weekend??? Sorry to hear of your news DD.
  8. All this talk of DAS - but what is DAS???
  9. Ah well, Beaten again! It sounds like you've got some excellent plans up your sleeve Jam, so do have a great time up North!
  10. fishermen, still gesticulating
  11. Good Monring All! Well, this is it, the last day of the week for me (Sorry Jam! ). All's well here, looks like it may have rained quite persistently over night, and was trying again as I cycled in. 6 Oktas out of the office window now and apparently it's going to get worse before it gets better.... (Just as long as "worse" comes *after* i've cycled home!) Have a good Thursday everyone! MRC tonight, then off to Weymouth tomorrow with SQP GRaham
  12. Blimey! Not just slightly the other way either! I didn't even know what Eurospoor was before 5 minutes ago..... I hope you have an excellent weekend John!
  13. You andme both John, still, Weymouth this weekend with SQP so I'll get my fix then! What, you mean you're *not* coming to Weymouth???
  14. Good Morning All! Bacon and egg Sarnies??? Do you deliver ???? Congratualations PhilH on the new arrival too! Well, normal service resumed here too - golly I've had to fix computers in the RMWeb intermission.... This morning here is somewhere around 4 Oktas, dry now but not long rained looking at the windows and ground. I only like the rain because it makes for a faster cycle into work, something to do with reduced friction on the road or something.... Have a good Monday (Monday??? I mean Wednesday!!) All! Graham
  15. Indeed, it was only the corner of the room! (rocking in the corner in public might well have attracted the attention of the men in white coats!! )
  16. Hello Everyone! I'm back! First time I've been able to access RMweb since Thursday night.... phew! I'd started going white and rocking in the corner......
  17. Good morning all! Just got into the office! It's a hearty 10c outside, completely dark so I'm guess fully okta'd up too... Apologies for my absence yesterday - I hope nobody noticed! Ah well, it's Thursday everyone - One day and a half to go to see this week out! Have a good day everybody!
