Happy New Year to you Frank , will come and chat at the Weston show
in two weeks .
-
Great stuff Stu , you even have the rust in the right places .
I wish I had your skills when it comes to doing buildings .

Mike - I reckon it would be if I was retired How's that layout coming on?
Slowly mate , two boards up and running , now trying to sort out some
scenic ideas for them .

Brilliant work , keep it up Cris and ignore the anti photo shop brigade
when you can get shots like this .
-
( it has been suggested that it may get confused, )
Cant get any more confused than you mate .
Nice work though , very impressed .

Nice work Frank , I dont think it looks that oversize once it is painted , will certainly add some atmosphere to the layout .
-
I will be watching this with interest , great to see another GWR layout
being built , I like the locos that you have so far , nice mix . I will now upset some by saying that for me at least , if I like the class and it falls in the right age range then I run it , I cant get to hung up on wether it fits the prototypical scenario or not .
Keep up the good start and good luck with the project .
Regards , Mike .

Go to your local £1-00 shop and buy a set of their artists brush sets , not much good for painting but ideal for sloshing flux around, when it dead bin it .
-
Spare a thought for me , I drive a Smart , can just about get a passenger
in that .
-
Looking forward to seeeing you and the layout at Weston Super Mare , it's a nice litttle
local show that manages to attract some great layouts and all for charity .
Keep up the great work Frank .
-
Superb stuff , you really captured the old times with that sligthtly grainy
look and the fades in and out of colour .
And I loved the shots of the outside framed loco on the move , something about that type that appeals to me .
-
Hi Chaps - yes it is the camera causing that distortion, thankfully
I thought it must be something like that , if it was my baseboard building then I would know it was bent .
-
It's looking nice Al , the backscene is a bit special , I hope it is an optical illusion but the track seems to have a good downhill slope to the bridge and then appears to start climbing again .
-
That Sir is superb .

Your doing a good job on that , as you have taken the trouble to sort out the smoke box door and coffee pot might I suggest you have a look at the chimney , it does'nt look quite right to me , everything else looks good though , as Missy has said , well done for tackling this conversion .

That is excellant , really looking forward to SWAG Taunton now ,
I've been wanting to see this layout for a long time .

Someone should point out to Ivan that he is failing to display a current
vehicle excise license , or will he claim ' it's in the post officer ' .
-
Outstanding Mikkel.I wish I could 'knock up' something as good as that.I do like those Scalelink stairs.Got any spare ?
My thoughts exactly Rob , makes you want to spit .
-
I like the way that looks , much neater than blobs of solder , and it looks like it would be easier to do the cosmetic finishing touches .
-
That loco still looks very clean Chris . Cracking photo , and I agree with
halfwit , the car looks right .
-
Well as a solid GWR follower I have to say that that looks superb, there is something about an 8 coupled loco that appeals to me , tank or tender they just ooze power and strength .
When will the green one be out ???
-
Thanks everyone! B)
Yes Mike, they have to be the other way round for everything to fit in, and so I could use the same mount, with only minor adjustments to the artwork.
I've gone well past the point of no return with this one, so I have to make it work one way or another!
I think that with the amount of thought and attention to design you have put into this you are well on the way to getting this up and running .
I salute you Sir .
