  1. thanks all to finnish off the day i have cut out the front cab windows and made it ready for the etch. and cut out the roof fan also ready for the etch. and removed the rong detail off the cab roof. now i can get the rads made as i wait for the posty with all the goodys
  2. i have ordered full shawplan detailing parts so i have started by removing the side grills and filling and sanding the nose to the right shape. the rads will be done the same as the 2nd loco work so far.
  3. and the 3rd i got this off ebay and it had been very badly hand painted so 1st thing i did was give it a good cote of model strip and put it in a carrier bag for 24h after a good wash it came out like this.
  4. this is the 2nd i have cut out the rad covers and detailed them. step by step pictures of this but not like the 3rd is going to be.

Hi all after seeing many posts of detailing a Hornby class 37 i have to share my efforts with you all, (sorry) I will start with one i started some time ago and is still not finished but it only needs its name plates. The 2nd is also not finished but i am going to add more detail when i get round to it. The 3rd i have just started and i will show in pictures how i do everything step by step. Hi Ron I was going to say it was ballast on the track bed on the viaduct, i used to walk from stretford in to manchester central station as a kid on my way to the model shop on deansgate every saturday back in the mid 80s, there was no tracks by then but the station was complete with all platforms but the booking office had been very badly burnt in a fire. this brings back some very good memories keep up the fantastic work carl
