  1. Great Eastern composite cab for me down here... here's mine.. and a video of it too.. JB.
  2. Lovely layout... great to see a K2 also... even if it has got the wrong cab on it JB.
  3. I like the Deelys, lovely looking engine. JB.
  4. Working reversible valve gear on this one Ken ? JB.
  5. No no.. next job is to get some nice videos for us on YouTube JB.
  6. Looking mega Paul !! Very nice work on the D16 and F5 too... both are prototypes that are on my list, though the D16 will most likely be scratchbuilt.. JB.
  7. Looking good Ken, I reckon it'll look mega with a little weathering to tone down the white lining just a smidge ! How's the B1 coming along ? Is it showing itself to be an accurate kit in terms of look and dimensions ? The B1 is on my list for the future.. after the L1. JB.
  8. Looking good Jazz... not looking forward to lining out my L1 when I get to that bit ! JB.
  9. Absolutely spectacular... Can't wait to see it on the circuit... Who gets the chore of cleaning all the wheels before an exhibition though ?! JB.
  10. The work on the first '73' above is fantastic... is that something I would have seen on the cl 08's down at the Eurostar MPD near Leyton ? JB.
  11. Fantastic looking stock and layout !! JB.
  12. Looking spectacular as ever ! Regarding the backscene, I would be very careful about what you use... I'd worry that most backscenes would bring down the standard of the layout... Is it an option to not have a back scene at all ? I'm just thinking about great large layouts such as Gresley Beat.. Do they use a backscene ?? I think I would be tempted to have a very nice lighting rig with direct lens bulbs that highlighed 'just' the layout and somehow flag the light off of the wall so that it would be dark an invisible if a blind was pulled over the skylight etc... Just a thought.. JB.
  13. Have you tried mixing the paint with some lighter fluid ? I think it is meant to reduce the surface tension off of the pen to help it flow better of that's the problem.. JB.
  14. Can you program 'bounce' of the signal arm on the servo system that you are using ? JB.
  15. Always been a big fan of the Adams Radial, and this is looking lovely... will it be in LSWR green ? JB.
  16. Should be a great 2mm/ft exhibition layout.. It seems there is a shortage of good exhibition layouts in this scale.. JB.
  17. Rob... Judging by your wifes skill with a paint brush, have you asked her to weather any of your loco's for you ? You never know, she might turn out to be a pro... JB.
  18. Sorry, missed this... Unfortunately, the Pacifics were a little too large for West Mersea. In terms of larger engines I need to stick to B17's K2's B12's etc... I know exactly what you mean about the MN! I'd love to do one in Scale7 with working brakes with all those linkages working off of each other... Maybe one day I might be able to justify it.. JB.
  19. Time consuming is around 30mins for you eh Ken ? Looking great !! JB. P.s. Got myself a Gladiator L1...
  20. Oh you lucky man Ken. I'd love to build myself an Andrews kit, but there's nothing in the lineup that takes my fancy other than the GW 2-8-0 tank, but that doesn't fit too well with 1946 LNER! JB.
  21. Great! I think the first picture looks fantastic..! :icon_thumbsup2: JB.
  22. Totally inspiring as usual !! :icon_thumbsup2: JB.
  23. At last! Somewhere to begin to run in all these Scale7 engines...! JB
