I always get a deserted feeling. Creaky doors, cobwebs, tumbleweed blowing through.

  3. Hi Matt not Brian. Please keep us posted on your progress, it will be interesting to see what modifications you make so the layout is more transport friendly. All the best with your new purchase. Martin
  4. Hi All A great thread, thanks for all your posts. I have only recently got an Arduino UNO and have miles to go to catch up with you all, at the moment my greatest success is to get an LED to fade up and down. Keep up the posts, they are all very interesting. All the best Martin
  5. I'm with you on the warwickshirerailways.com site. I have lost many hours going through their pages.

    On the fiddle!

Looks like a lot of work has gone into the TT, nice job. What did you use for the bearing faces?
  19. Brilliant reminder of my early years, a few of the captions say "where are they now". I know where one is, I was a very junior visitor on odd occasions. No claim to any practical input, just inspiring times during my formative years. Used to love cycling down to sholing station, a great clubroom, if I remember correctly a bit cramped at times. Was it the N gauge, or the junior section that was tucked away at the far end of the building, my memory fails me. Amazing how much you forget about the things you have forgotten. Happy Days. Thanks for posting the pics.
  20. Turin60 has shown me the way, and the way is DG couplings. Well they work well on his layout.

I liked Tom Shields' proposal to re-brand the Scottish Tories (ref. leadership campaign) as "iRight"...
