  1. Hi all, Highly recommended.... http://www.themodeltreeshop.co.uk/ Fast service, reasonable prices, good products.... As seen on Haston, Vt! Seriously though.... Owners accomodate most requirements and give expected delivery date if they are out of stock of the specific items you want. Thanks

  5. Hi all, How about an early Dumpster truck with bins? Seem to remember seeing them in the films going back to the 50's so would expect to see this. I've found quite a lot of interesting photos on this website http://pinterest.com/gigistoll/street-cred/ I'm sure I've seen a photo book about 1950's to 60's New York with this sort of thing in it as well. Thanks
  6. Hi Charlie, You mean to say you left Arran in a Container Port! Just how many varieties of container do you guys want to produce... When do we get the HO versions! Thanks
  7. Hi Ray, The first Fork Lift trucks were early 20th century. A search on Google 'Early Forklifts' will provide you loads of info plus photos! Short answer - Yes - a forklift truck is appropriate. Just what type! It was the 2nd world war that made the forklift a 'must have' for companies that were transhipping goods ets. Thanks
  8. More Modelling - Less Talking! Essential requirements......

  9. Hi all, Someone's been looking in my drawings file! One of the ideas I had for a Guilford layout in N was based on an inverted T. Gradually I moved the upright vertical bar of the T further and further away from the centre. Something like this..... Grid is 12" Loads of others as well - too many on paper and not enough on software - let alone built! Thanks

Checking on my ISP - I have 1gigabyte available as webspace. and may decide to get the finger out and use it. Watch this space! Thanks
  12. Hi all, Waverley Structures..... Before the demise of Fotopic I had a whole Ablum dedicated to 'Now' on the Waverley route - specifically the current site for stations. I'm not sure if I should reload everything somewhere or just post samples on here? Anyway... Some tasters Thanks

  14. Hi Mike, This photo of the snowshed at Cruach is taken on a layout called 'Moor of Rannoch' built by Alan Mitchell. It used to have a Fotopic site dedicated to it but since the demise of Fotopic Alan has not reloaded them anywhere. I can ask and see if he is willing to let me use his photos if there is sufficient interest. Thanks Phil H
  15. HI Rod, If I could attach an idea I've been working on - I would! I can't - so see direct email. Now - How do I get some PRA bodies? Thanks

  22. Hi Rick, There was a discussion about this coach on Scottish Modellers some time ago. Thanks for posting the 2 photos you have as these are the best we have come across! Anyway - Our info confirms what Mike has said. W9004W - Inspection Saloon Swindon 1931 Diag G59. Our information also has indicated that modifications were done in 1971. We do not know what the modifications were or where they were done. Attached are 2 scans photos sent in one of our members of this coach at Kyle. Photographer/owner not known - Unable to confirm with the member as he has passed away. If anyone either knows whose the photos are or is the photographer - please let me know. Then we can update our records approriately. Thanks
  23. Hi Mark, I told you not to buy a Black 5.. I already had one lying on the shelf that you could have had! Never mind... Thanks Phil H

  25. Hi all, At the moment we are all laughing up here! Edinburgh has a hard frost but no snow! OK - If you go out about 10-13 miles to the south, there is snow! But not a lot...... With less than 3 weeks to Modelrail Scotland - we need it to stay away from us! Thanks
