Toboldlygo's Model Works (as of 31/07/2020)
toboldlygo replied to toboldlygo's topic in Modelling musings & miscellany
Sorry for lack of updates, I'd been distinctly off colour for a most of the summer, so things had slowed to crawl. This culminated last Friday (September 17th), when I was rushed to hospital after suffering a 'Cardiac Event' (heart attack). I'm on the mend, but I'm having to take things easy.- 683 replies

Couldn't agree more life does tend to get in the way. Update coming up shortly. -
Bacon Baps? Such devilry needs to be stamped out, King Arthur and his Knights shall set forth to Battlefield with much haste and cleanse the the café using the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. For it is written.. 'The bread shall be white and thickly sliced, a baguette however is acceptable. The bacon shall be crispy, it must be back and the cure unsmoked. The sauce must be Brown, or Fruity and butter isn't optional'

For best results with POWsides, firstly you need a smooth gloss coat to apply them on. Also you need to keep the wagon from moving and not touch the back of the decals with your fingers. So those with 3 hands will be very apt at applying them Using the tracing paper provided, cut them out with a sharp scalpel rather than scissors, align them on the wagon and tape in place with Kabuki tape and rub down with a HB pencil (mustn't be sharp). Also cutting the lettering into smaller sections (the Ocean ones were spaced to do it) and applying a section at a time makes things a doddle.

It's the only site I've had 'issues' with Paypal and when you offered to place the order over the phone - your card facility was down and I did give you my mobile number and you never bothered back to me when it was fixed. I had a neighbour try to order for (who works for Worldpay) she couldn't place the order either.
