  1. Fox Transfers all the way. The Railtec Website appears to be very selective as to who appears to work for..
  2. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.... ....plus 9: Diagrams H26, H27 & H29 70' Restaurant Car (8 wheel or 12 wheel dependant on era modelling).
  3. So this weeks been a bit of mixed bag so far. The match truck is still on going - though having a breather from it, after the insanity of the I Beam assembly. I pressed on with the Lancer and got it finished today. Mustang's in camo. And the P-11C is moving along nicely.
  4. To be honest it's been sporadic over the last 16 days (usually in the evening UK Time) - something to do with another company on the same servers as RMWeb, who are providing Olympics coverage perhaps (and paying extra to ensure they get priority bandwidth). As you say ,nothing you can do about it Andy, apart from passing it up the food chain
  5. He later woke up in the Men in Malachite's Brent Facility, strapped to the Air Smoother - as he'd not asked permission from the Grand Inquisitor to eat a pasty

  7. The track is Peco Bullhead OO fine scale, the points are all hand built (they all have Modelu point rodding), all the signals are ready to plant Dapol motorised ones. The control panel looks like it belongs in a nuclear reactor, but it very clear and easy to use. (Picture isn't as it was cropped from the goods shed photo). Even though it's DC it's possible to run three loco's on one line of track simultaneously and independent of each other. Oh and it's all lit too.
  8. Funnily enough my client did say he had put too many buses on the bridge. They layout is based somewhere on the GWR between Bristol & Gloucester and called 'Thornberry' and predominantly the War to Post War GWR. It's a 22' L shaped plank, which he had professionally built and it's DC. More to follow.
  9. I've done and do a lot a hell of a lot of commission work for a select band of clients and they've mostly come from recommendations - from @gwrrob and others. Renumbering and repainting is still very alive and kicking - just some people are very much blinkered and in denial about it. I visited a client on the West Sussex coast today to deliver some completed stock and to see his newly completed layout. All the loco's, rolling stock, engine shed, sand house , plate layers hut and water cranes in the photo are my work - and that is just the tip of a Titanic sized Iceberg.
  10. So today, I went on trip to the West Sussex coast to deliver a couple of boxes of stock (seen on here) to a client (one box was for his brother) and see his finally completed layout. I was left struck dumb, as apart from a few items of rolling stock (which haven't received my deft touch) everything else was my handiwork (including a few buildings and other bits you might recognise from this thread).
  11. Oops a bit late in an update... The wheel barrow and tools were finished. Then I took a week or so's break from commissions to focus on work around the house and make progress on some Aircraft kits. The P-43C Lancer is on the final straight. And I've used Australian paints too - from SMS. The decals went down great however the white of the roundels needed some painting in. The Mk.III Mustang is starting to be painted, ironically I finished painting the prop first lol. I started on another kit in 1/48th Scale - Arma Hobby PZ P-11C. It's a really wow kit in quality, detail and fit. The cockpit.. The engine. The Fuselage built However then I got back to Railway stuff and a hell of a lot of soldering - Brassmaster's Match Truck, a lot of parts in small kit.. Tool boxes finally in place (double digits in parts to get them there). Today's progress might not look a lot, but there's a quite a few parts involved (10 so far in the I Beam). Time for lie down in a darkened room..
  12. Damn the King would of looked so nice lined out in yellow - better get the thinners out to remove the Malachite Green and the Airforce Blue from the Name & Number plates
