  1. 97406 works a loaded ballast from Peanmeamarr quarry to Crewe. The train will call into Llanbourne for a loco change.
  2. They were but some did still turn up. The Canton class 37/4s were quite common between cardiff and Bristol during 87. Cheers Peter
  3. Any chance of some more pics of the blue loco. I am trying to decide whether to go for the Heljan 25912 or SLW. I noticed the real 25912 has no centre lamp bracket at number 2 end so I am wondering if this feature will be on the SLW model. I am also wondering if the side steps will have a have separate blanking plates like the Heljan model. Many thanks Peter.
  4. 25059 works the target 92 trip to Holyhead.
  5. Hi Will, Thanks mate I hadn't added anything for ages but plan to do a few more now that I can load from my phone to youtube and onto here. Cheers Peter.
  6. Had a class 50 one time and a few class 45s. I think it was 1987 when the class 47 was booked we used to avoid it if we could. I have a pic of a class 37/4 on a cardiff - Bristol train too, and I think class 31s could be seen on the trains too. Cheers Peter.
  7. Found this diagram 33004.. Quite a few miles for a crompton.
  8. Hi Paul, The sound chip is a Zimo MX645r which is designed for 00 gauge but I have removed one motor. The sound isPaul Chetter. Cheers Peter.
  9. 20223 runs round some wagon for repair.
  10. The Bristol - Pompey services were extended to Cardiff Crewe and into North Wales in the mid 80s , so the rakes were pretty much what was running out of Bristol and Cardiff. The Cromptons started to get unreliable due to being away from their home depot for too long so by 87 the services were cut back. Cheers Peter.
  11. 45103 has a Lgomanbiffo V4 with two sugar cube speakers jammed inside. My Trans Pennine rakes get swapped about a bit to form different rakes the one in the video has a mix of Hornby Lima and Bachmann. I plan to do a few more Bachmann MK2s so they can form their own rakes, then the Lima and Hornby can stay together. Cheers Peter.
  12. 33202 Leaves Llanbourne on a service to Holyhead.
  13. 33202 Leaves Llanbourne on a service to Holyhead.
  14. D200 looks great. One of the reasons for me choosing to model North Wales was the fact that the last class 40s could be seen quite regularly. You cant really model the North Wales Coast and not have a D200. Mine has worked all sorts of trains but is common the 1D32 from Stoke and return which also includes a run down the branch. Cheers Peter.
  15. https://youtu.be/29XLPGyF9Tw 45103 on a trans Pennine working.
  16. I have been reading through this thread but I can't find a date that the model will be released. It's possible I have missed it but any info on when it's due would be great. Cheers Peter.
  17. Thabks John, its getting there just need to find the time to crack on with it. Cheers Peter.
  18. Thanks, I noticed the blue sold out fairly quickly I might at some point change the headnote to the sealed beam type but I am happy with it for now, I does run well. Cheers Peter.
  19. Hi Rick, Yeah Down where my brother and parents are it's not to bad. it does seem some parts of the country are worse than others. Cheers Peter.
  20. Another top video Ian, I did notice some wagons drop/bounce going trough the cross overs by the depot. Have you got a worn out frog or is their some ballast sticking up a bit high. I know some of my older points have a wider frog which can do the same with the newer more finescale wagon wheels. Also a question. How do you put video on your thread with the limited 10MB file size that can be loaded up, I have trouble loading a few pictures sometimes. Cheers Peter.
  21. Hi Rick, only just managed it as we had lockdown during the week. Hope your staying safe it looks pretty bad over their at the moment. Cheers Peter.
  22. Thanks Doug, We have been trying to catch up a bit when we can. We will have to do a bigger one up your way at some point it would be good to catch up. Cheers Peter.
  23. Thanks Steven, It's a great website for North Wales gen. Cheers Peter.
