Scenery has commenced on the extension board, wiring in plac, the river has been made, embankments are next.

Final woodwork and tracklaying completed on new extension board, also built two fiddle yards today for Fenchurch St Peter.

I completed a pre-order form at Warley with LTM, now I don't know if this has been accepted as I have no receipt or proof.........

Yep, same here. I have already got the GBRF model and a cracker it is, it is complete with all parts attached.

With Towcester appearing at Milton Keynes in February in its extended form, it was about time we built the new baseboard which will include the River Tove. So work has commenced today.

Work progresses, track on last scenic board ballasted, foliage added and goods shed almost completed ( roof needs painting ) Yes the windows are supposed to look broken........

Goods shed at painting stage, before I add roof, glazing, doors, gutters etc. Now off on my annual all line 1st class rover, so hopefully we are on schedule to finish the layout for the planned visit of a well known model railway magazine in November....

The last of the scenic boards are coming along, George has made a great job, just some ballasting, foliage and small details to be added. Wiring is nearly completed on the signals and points.

With the layout due to be photographed in October by a well known model railway magazine, it is time to stop lazing around in holiday season and get back to working on the layout. Along with George's jobs I still have to make a control panel, build another scenic board and construct the station building, good shed and pub ( not a lot to do then!!) Anyway a start was made over the weekend and the panel was constructed.
