  1. In fairness your answer was more comprehensive than mine, so many thanks! I better have some porridge now to get me going for the day! Cheers! Fran
  2. Hi @Graham108, A total of 40 FNA-D wagons have been built. Our numbers are most certainly correct 🙂. Cheers! Fran
  3. Hi Eddie, Pic of our 31 and 66 side by side. (Pedant mode, the pic from the Toton open day features a Class 59 in the background, not a 66) Cheers! Fran
  4. Hi Kevin, To answer your query, here's some info from our Class 37 project manager, Gareth Bayer: HTH! In relation to the speakers and sound decoders. The speakers have arrived at our warehouse and will go back on the website on the coming days. The decoders have been taken off sale for now due to the flange squeal hall sensor issue customers are finding with the decoders purchased separately. This is down to a firmware issue with ESU and these decoders need to be updated. Suffice to say that anyone who has already bought one will be contacted in due course about having their decoder reblown to activate it. Confirmation of the cause of this issue was only established this morning, so please give us some time to get all this set up for you. Thank you for your patience and we will also have the corrected decoders back on sale in due course. Cheers! Fran
  5. Hi Peter, We did indeed, and it will feature in the next run of these wagons. Cheers! Fran
  6. Hi Rich, I can confirm that they are very much in our plans in the near future. Cheers! Fran
  7. Hi @PaulRhB, Speakers will be with us next week! We will have them back on sale on the website then. Cheers! Fran
  8. Hi @E100, We are looking into this with ESU. Once we have some answers we will report back! Cheers! Fran
  9. Hi folks, We're still going through them and lining them up for their beauty shots at the moment, but it's looking promising, especially with wee touches like this... Cheers! Fran
  10. Hi Andi, Thanks for the correction, I had forgotten that it's GBRf who are the ones who upgrade their lights. I don't think DB have done so to date. Cheers! Fran
  11. Hi everyone, Indeed, the large logo blue 37s finally arrived with us yesterday. We are going through our usual prep this morning and will hopefully get underway posting them out from tomorrow, if not Monday. Cheers! Fran
  12. Hi @Johnson Street IEMD, As above, easier to respray a loco without them fitted. Something like 92010 or 92020 in our first run would be good candidates. Would have the prototypically correct upgraded LED lights too. Cheers! Fran
  13. Hi Derek, We're about 25% through pre-order dispatch at the moment. We hope to have them all out by Wednesday close of business. Cheers! Fran
  14. Hi everyone, We will have a full update on these along with the MDO/V and Coil As later this week but production is complete and we are awaiting production samples. Once we have those we will have a further update. Cheers! Fran
  15. Hi everyone, Have been assured our Large Logo locos will be released from customs today. Thank god! Cheers! Fran
  16. Hi Danny, Yes indeed, both models will have a removable hatch for DCC installation. Cheers! Fran
  17. Hi E100, Many thanks for the feedback, and we will certainly take these on board in future runs. As for the splodge, yep, it should be there as per the real thing. The clips for the sound speaker will come in separate packs in the coming weeks and will be fairly inexpensive. We will look to see if we can include them in DC/DCC ready locos in future runs perhaps. Cheers! Fran
  18. Hi Chris, We have asked to be sent some with the corrected paint on the tunnel on the firemans side. They arrive tomorrow and will be snapped next week with pics published then while the rest are packed up and shipped to us. Cheers! Fran
  19. Hi Colin, You never know! (fat fingers on my part 🤣) Cheers! Fran
  20. Hi everyone, Just to follow up on this, we have created a set of transfers which will be available to customers who wish to correct their wagons as discussed above. We began work on these in March this year and hoped to have them complete in a shorter space of time but it took longer than expected due to a few attempts to get the transfers to a level we were completely happy with. These are now being printed by our good friends at railtec and are due with us in a couple of weeks time. Indeed, I had reached out to Nick previously informing him that we were doing the transfers back in March but they did take longer than I had envisaged initially. That's on me and I apologise to Nick for that, but was outside of my control. I have contacted Nick via PM to help make up for it. Once we receive them we will invite customers who wish to correct their British Steel wagons to contact us with proof of purchase and we will post them out for free of charge. We will also provide a fitting guide on the website. Look out for instructions on how to redeem yours which will be posted here once they arrive with us which we will post here. Cheers! Fran
  21. Hi @reddragon, Sure thing, just email us with your order number and the dates and we can facilitate this. Cheers! Fran
  22. Hi Rob, Okay, will come clean on this. There was one photo we didn't share last week, and it's this one... as you can see, the tunnel on the firemans side has been painted black instead of green, despite our artworks being correct. Thankfully it's something that is really easy to correct, and the factory are already sorting it, but have asked for 10 days to complete the work. We have okay'ed this, as it would be awful to put the models out there with incorrect paint like this. An absolute pain, but we felt it was the right decision to take. So, at the last hurdle, it has tripped, but will be bang on when they land. Once this is corrected all models will be packed up and shipped by air to the UK. They are coming in two batches one week apart. Batch one includes 7800, 7801, 7802, 7808 and 7812, with the remainder following on approx one week later. July is the month of the Manor, which is the main thing. Cheers! Fran
  23. Hi @Chilly, I'm sure a few of them will come back onto the market after pre-orders and retail stock are cleared. Be sure to check out our retailers too for availability. Cheers! Fran
  24. Hi Mike, It was caused by clumsy fingers at our end, not packing. To be honest it's the first time we managed to do this to any sample, pre-production or production, so we think it's just plum bad luck on our part, but naturally any caution in handling exercised is worthwhile. Cheers! Fran
