  1. Hi Damo, Apologies, missed this query! I know CRail had done the Bell containers on their own in the past. Our CIE 20ft containers will be available as separate items, but I dont think they left the country. Might be wrong. Cheers, Fran Cheer
  2. We are most likely to do this variant in a future production run for 4mm!
  3. Thanks! Of course the As were synonymous with cross border trains throughout their careers so were seen side by side NIR motive power on a daily basis. Cheers! Fran
  4. I personally saw an EWS grid on these leaving the Kings Cross area in summer 2001 but haven’t got photographic proof to back it up lol Cheers, Fran
  5. Best of luck to you Dennis in your retirement, I have had the pleasure of meeting you a couple of times and chatting (most recently at the MK show) and I have personally always greatly admired the professionalism and integrity that has been a hallmark of the Bachmann brand in the UK. Operating in a similar role very much in my infancy career wise compared to you, I have quickly learned the challenges involved (in some ways my previous work in political and corporate communications was a cake walk in comparison!) so I can only help but admire the way you have gone about your role over your time with Bachmann. All the very best from the Accurascale team and look forward to chatting to you again at shows in the future. Cheers! Fran.
  6. No. Though we plan to sound record one for Crossley goodness....
  7. Hi Mark, We most certainly will! If it’s anything like the Dublin show which finished today I will probably need to sleep for a week after it Cheers, Fran
  8. Hi MGR Hooper, The first three of those links are suitable for the 1994/95 period, but the last one, 088 in CIE Supertrain is not. As for our A Class, the following are suitable https://irishrailwaymodels.com/products/024-a-class-locomotive https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/a-class-locomotive/products/051-a-class-locomotive Cheers, Fran
  9. Hi everyone, Firstly, thank you to everyone for your kind words and feedback. The A is a big deal for us, and a loco that has been very close to our hearts since we were babies getting interested in trains. A backbone of the Irish railway scene for 40 years and much loved. Features such as the spec list for the A is what you can expect in future Accurascale locos too when we get round to them! There will be several models of the GM locos with original windscreens. All black and tan GM powered locos for instance, and some of the supertrain. They switched to toughened glass in this period. We need to clean some of the renders on the site to reflect this so you guys know which Supertrain loco has which, and we will do that over the next week or so. 201s arrived from mid 1994 and the last of the A class went in 1995. A's would've been in IR livery with stripes, while the 201s would've been in their original orange livery. 071s would've been IR livery too, along with 141s. Cheers! Fran
  10. Hi Mike, They cover the 80s - mid 90s period for Bell, and early 90s for B&I. We may do later containers and bare flats at a later date due to demand. The wagons themselves are still in limited use for container duty today, but it tends to be more 47ft flats to cater for 45ft containers. The flats themselves can be easily renumbered as the livery has been the same throughout their lives. Cheers! Fran
  11. Hi everyone, We are opening the order books on our first items of our 42ft project this weekend; the B&I, Bell and CIE Liners. And before you ask; yes, it was due to be the ferts first, but the ferts are undergoing some vigorous fettling which as you may have noticed, has delayed the whole project somewhat. So, while we get that sorted out (and we nearly have it sorted) we have swapped the container liners into first position as they are more advanced. We are doing two packs of two wagons with Bell containers, two packs of two wagons with B&I containers., and one twin pack with two wagons each featuring two 20ft CIE containers. Phew! The B&I and Bell containers are of course the C Rail intermodal containers, which are excellent in both finish and fidelity, while the CIE 20ft containers are new tooling from ourselves. We're delighted to say that we will have pre-production samples of both C Rail container liveries on our stand at Raheny this weekend for you to see. While Bell containers have been done before, they have not been done on this pattern of container, which is earlier than other C Rail Bell containers giving them an operating spehere of 70s-90s. They are also new numbers unique to us. The B&I containers have never been done before, and of course the CIE containers are uniquely Irish and all new tooling. Cost per pack is €100, with a rake deal in place for CIE, Bell and B&I trains of four packs for €375. Delivery is Q1 2019. Since the production numbers of these is quite small, (half the size of other production runs like bubbles and smaller than the taras) they will sell out pretty fast. So, dont miss out on them. They will be available to pre-order from our stand and online from Saturday morning at 11am. As mentioned elsewhere, we will also have a new product announcement (Well, two actually!) on our stand at Raheny, so make sure you drop by and have a look! Cheers, Fran
  12. Hi, Most of the pre-orders have been, yes. Can you send me your full name and email address via PM and I can check out the status of your order? Cheers, Fran
  13. And what a bundle rake looks like. Large, but good value! What loco would you stick on the front? Thinking a pair of 20s personally in blue...
  14. Managed to snap a few pics of them myself this morning! Pack F Pack G Pack H Pack I Pack J Pack K I'm biased of course, but I think they look pretty cool! In stock now and selling well, so don't miss out if you like the 73-87 period! Cheers, Fran
  15. Fantastic pics as always Paul! We’re big fans of your Flickr page. These packs are now in stock Cheers, Fran
  16. Thanks for all the feedback everyone, they’re proving to be very popular if pre-orders are anything to go by! We’re also delighted to say that our snag list of tweaks has been accepted and approved by the factory so once they’re made its production time! Thanks to everyone who has pre-ordered so far. Cheers, Fran
  17. We had a delivery this morning; the TOPS and NCB packs of our HUOs are now in stock!! We have ploughed through pre-orders this afternoon and those of you who pre-ordered them in the UK will receive them before the end of the week! Thanks for the support as ever. Fran
  18. Hi Alan, we sure are! Look forward to seeing you there. It's a great show! We would add the crisps but Charlie Petty's ancestors nicked all our spuds so we can't make his exclusive flavours after all! Tayto can be arranged, but I am a King man myself. I'll see if I can throw in a couple bags of each. Wait till ya see us in two weeks George... It's our new Ryanair baggage allowance beater. Should fund us a couple of locos when we put it on general sale!
  19. Of course! We want to put a tap and keg into it but not sure the Warley crew would let us!
  20. Well, after a very busy few days in Milton Keynes we have arrived back home in Dublin. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, had a chat with us and a look at our growing range, and who made purchases and preorders for new items. We very much appreciate it! The PCA has started very strongly in preorders already which is amazing. Now, time to put the kettle on and catch my breath before the TOPS and NCB HUOs arrive in stock tomorrow! Cheers, Fran
  21. Glitch, price has certainly not gone up. Investigating!
  22. Oh ruddy hell, we better crack that whip on China to keep them on schedule! Great to meet you finally Mick. Cheers, Fran
  23. Thanks Andy! We felt it was about time we had a nice up-to-date buffer stop for up-to-date modellers. There are still some refinements required but they gained lots of admiring glances on our stand today. Cheers, Fran
