  1. Well, if we tool it up for one livery, it would kinda seem silly not to even do a short run of it in its other livery, right? One day....
  2. Well, she was in purple in that condition and we are tooling that up....
  3. Hi Robert, 42 project is in tooling and we should have our Liners here by March/April 2019, with Fert to follow them, then Guinness liner, spoils and weedsprayer throughout 2019. So lots on the way and all will land before the A! Cheers, Fran
  4. Hi boxbrownie, That is correct. We’re all about choice as you may have seen previously! Both are going to sound terrific I’m sure, I know the effort we put in and the sound tech spec will make it epic for ours, and I had a play with an O Gauge Deltic with Biffo sound last year and that was very tasty too! Cheers! Fran
  5. Correct Deltic 17, it's another area getting amended! Cheers! Fran
  6. Hi everyone, Firstly, sincerest apologies for taking so long to get pictures of the pre-production sample to you. We received it in mid October and had displayed it at GETS and Warley, but to be honest we see several areas which need vast improvement. We have been sorting this with the factory, and even received some invaluable input and help from Gauge O Guild members at Warley, to whom we are eternally grateful. These improvements are now being undertaken by the factory and the wagons have been delayed by 8 weeks. We have a full update and photos of the sample here which you can look at, and I will be happy to answer any questions. https://accurascale.co.uk/blogs/news/7mm-huo-update-and-sample-preview We want this to be the very best it can be, and we will make sure it will be a top notch wagon. Cheers, Fran
  7. Wow, Flood, most impressive! Keep us up to date please, we love seeing our wagons being used in modelling projects like this! Cheers, Fran
  8. Thanks everyone for the feedback, glad you all like them. If anyone is wondering why I've been quiet on here over the past couple of days, it's because we've been packing these night and day. With almost 70% of the run sold, and orders coming in thick and fast, it's been a challenge to get them out the door quick enough! Cheers, Fran
  9. We’re thinking user-definable so people have a choice? Cheers! Fran
  10. Hi there, No, they will be installing a different sound pack. We will be selling ours separately too if anyone wants to upgrade their DCC ready model, it will be plug and play, and with Rails providing their own sound solution you get a choice of which you want! Cheers! Fran
  11. Rails are providing DCC sound fitting for these Locos in house. You can contact them for more info and about fitting. Cheers! Fran
  12. Our Technical Director decided to crack out the weathering powders himself and dirty up one of our TOPS HUOs....
  13. Hi everyone, Quick message for all our IRM fans, our Tara Mines wagons have just arrived in stock and the first batch has been sent out to customers, with more to follow tomorrow! Here are a few pics to get your mouths watering including the undercarraige detail (oo er!) and features such as rotating axle caps, a first to the market in OO Over half the run is already sold out so if you fancy them I wouldnt hang around! Cheers, Fran
  14. Unnumbered Locos do not sell. They will be easy enough to renumber should someone so desire. Cheers! Fran
  15. Hi Bob, That’s correct, we are doing 2 in the first run in blue pre TOPS. If they sell well, we will certainly do more, but I can confirm that so far neither are leading the sales charts. 21 is doing better than 12, and while both are selling okay, green and TOPS blue are doing better in most cases. We are doing all these numbers and guises to cater for everyone best we can, so if modellers want to see more pre TOPS blue locos, best way to get them is to order what is available. I’m sure every manufacturer sees it that way too. Cheers! Fran
  16. Hi John, I believe that this has been pointed out elsewhere in this topic and I am loathe to speak ill of another companies product but the DP2 solution is a complete non-runner as it distorts the whole body shape of the locomotive as a result. The body of a Deltic (and DP2) tapers at either end just before the cabside doors, and the DP2 model does not depict this most distinctive of body features correctly as a result of this feature you are championing. Therefore, it looks very wrong when you look at it from above and the sides. I would suggest reading the relevant thread on here for further information and I’m sure you will then accept why it’s a non-runner for us. All I will say at this juncture is that we are working on a cunning plan in this area, which will take a lot of working with the factory and when we have the acceptable results and engineering, we will show it. Cheers! Fran
  17. Thanks for that! Well, we did say we’d raise a few eyebrows. Okay, we find it really interesting that we’re getting a lot of calls to do a whistler. I do love a 40 myself, but wasn’t a newly tooled one launched a couple of years ago? Without dragging us off topic too much, why would you guys like to see a new one? Cheers, Fran
  18. The speakers that come with the decoders in locos are those specc’ed by the manufacturer of the loco, while they offer a basic speaker as a starting point with their own decoders. We have set a high specification with them, which they will oblige. If you look at their own continental outline locomotives and the different speakers they offer, you’ll see a vast range of speakers and set ups. This will not be a primitive set up as we will demonstrate later in the project. Cheers! Fran
  19. Hi Mike, All we can say for the moment is that it will have the latest ESU tech. We will have more news on this in the new year. In the meantime feel free to place your order and we can upgrade/downgrade at a later date when we have more information on that for you. Cheers! Fran
  20. Hi Mike, It will be loksound so I assume they can be? Yes speakers will be available without a decoder as they’re off the shelf products, should be able to buy them direct off ESU. Cheers, Fran
  21. Hi Mike, We wont be providing DCC ready locos with speakers fitted as they're high end expensive speakers and this would add to the cost price to DC users, or DCC users who do not use sound. The kit will come with the speakers as part of it and will be plug and play. Cheers, Fran
  22. We are unsure of the price as of yet, but should be in that ballpark! The great thing now is you have a choice for these locos, our own kits or the ones Rails will use, which will also be top notch! Cheers, Fran
  23. Hi guys, We will be looking to sell our DCC sound as a kit too which will be plug and play. We still need to sort out details before confirmation on that but it’s a plan we’re keen to put in place. We will have news of it in the new year so leave it with us, but fitting it would be a doddle. Cheers! Fran
  24. We are going to arrange the 'can go a bit quicker when nobody is looking' speed, just want everyone to know it'll be realistic and not trainset speeds! Cheers, Fran
