Just had one arrive.
Looks ok, some minor flash, it comes with moulded handrails and door handles !! The same problem is on the Chivers Pigeon Van
Why do they still do this ??
Does anyone know of a source for LNER White lettering " Return to Newmarket " decals ? I presume the Cambridge version is in Yellow ???

A photo I took today of the bridge on Whitchurch Road

What scale is this ? and the source of the figure/horse please

I used the MRJ article building the MJT version by Steve Banks to assist in the build.
I can also confirm there is a prototype photo therein of the Kitchen car in the modelled LNER livery

Its a shame that the V2 body isnt being upgraded. The moulding looks poor compared to current mouldings , the tender with fixed coal etc needs a much better moulding too.
It will be interesting to compare the B1 with the new Hornby when it arrives that is a much better body than the V2., but again the tender lets it down. I must have a good B1 never had a problem with it

Bachmann O4 now de lettered and vacumn ejector pipe removed. I have added white paint to the front of the frame to make it easier to add the prominent rivets .The chequer plate area are in front of the smokebox has been filled as from information below , it should be flat

I have now got a number/photo for a North Eastern based O4/3

Its no real problem to remove the actual handrails . The result is of course, the potential damage to surrounding detail on the bodywork. The Horsebox isnt too bad the Pigeon Van was a real problem due to very long horizontal rails.
It would be much easier for the bodies to have the handrail positions marked with a hole or dent . You can then fit a handrail or glue a piece of Plastic rod onto the marks. Simples![:P](https://www.rmweb.co.uk/uploads/emoticons/default_blum3.gif)
Glazing will be added to mine after painting the body sans roof . The Roof will be added last
