I think these boxes still exist: Great Rocks Junction, 26 Aug 1981 New Mills South Junction, 9 Aug 1983 Scropton Crossing in 1990 and on 19 Aug 2008 -
Sorry but that comment doesn't hold water. I haven't taken things to pieces to check the innards or done any measuring but, having offered a 1361 up to an Electrotren loco chassis, what differences there are in terms of wheelbase and wheel diameter look to be less than 1mm, if that. So, if the Electrotren chassis is 'near enough', the 1361 should be as well and, as already mentioned I think, the 1361s (Kernow or Heljan) have finer wheel profiles.

Another mixed bag: Maesteg, South Wales, 9 Oct 1965 Rishton, between Blackburn and Rose Grove, 4 June 1968. Don't want to wander off topic but how's that for a train formation? Penistone Barnsley Junction, probably 25 Jun 1981 Dunford West, 25 Jun 1981 Torside, 25 Jun 1981 -

A couple today where trains have got in the way: Christ's Hospital 12 June 1965 with 41287 on the 15:09 Horsham to Guildford train, this was then last day of services on that route. Nottingham Victoria, 17 July 1964 with 90037 on a down freight. Ventnor, 6 June 1965. A blow-up of a shot off the end of the platform as No. 20 was running round. Note the three-way point on the running line. Breadsall Crossing on the Midland north of Derby 23 July 1965 with 48060 passing on freight An anonymous little 'box which I think is somewhere on the South Eastern in the 1980s looking almost as if it could have just been built. Any offers on ID please? Edit: Oldudders and others suggest it is Rye. Thanks folks. -

Something a bit different today in the form of a crossing keeper's hut but I feel it is includable as it has a signal box type name board. It's at Meardsall Crossing on the Midland's Lincoln line. Not manned when I saw it in 1983. -

My drawing list shows there was an item for "Rebuilt 4-Cylinder 4-6-0s" in BRM for January 2001. The Ian Beattie drawing from RM in Feb 1987 was repeated in the RM book of his drawings published in 2001 -

Special thanks to Beast66606 for information and corrections (there's more to come in my collection). Coton Crossing. Note the door has been altered from end to back. I should have a pic of the track side somewhere. Fflint 1984 Hickleton Main Colliery Sidings, 1984. Not much sign of a colliery at that date! Somewhere between Shrewsbury and Hereford I Think, possibly Leominster, 1984. EDIT - Nowhere near, 4069 tells us it's Abergavenny.
