  1. McRat 032 It’s nightshift on Caerbannog fuelling shed.
  2. Must be in the minority - seems effortless - just have to be prepared and work quick - the cooler atmospheric temps the better. Ian
  3. Apologies - Wife's been shopping
  4. Whale Tail. How expensive were they in '87 - "D" Reg?
  5. Yes - a visit to Tower in Blackpool last week (35mins away) potential four figure sum. Easily
  6. Mitutoyo I’m more old school Starrett and Rabone
  7. Hope you got sorted - lack of exhibitions not helping the sourcing of bits - pricing things up for an assault on 7 mill myself - it seems cost goes out of the window in this gauge. Ian
  8. Nice work - but if your that particular and working to those finer dimensions get yourself a real ruler
  9. MDF Baseboard EVO Wood Glue (white) applied on the baseboard to sleeper height with a brush. Lay track at correct profiles to the desired position directly on EVO Glue (avoiding any pointwork and mark out with nails in the baseboard to guide laying) Sprinkle Ballast (like school glitter) Dry and remove excess lightly with a fine handbrush. Spray Ballast using Railmatch sprays. Drybrush to highlight (optional)

  11. Backscene Trees give the depth and look exceptional Ian
  12. Why not MO? Tower Models Blackpool have a decent service - the majority of their trade is MO. Ian
  13. Panic List Glue Plasticard Beer
  14. Thanks for the replies - CPC Farnell looks promising Ian
  15. Well. At least Hornby shares will be on the up again
  16. Will Have you tried double sided tape for Plasticard sheet? works well just be accurate by placing lightly until you are happy then finally rub down - works well. Also your warehouse reminds me of the plaster cast Ten Commandment Low Relief buildings - ready to place after spraying up but less handling as they are easily chipped. Ian
  17. Wires snapped. Any direct replacements other than the Baccy ones available? TIA Ian
  18. Don't bother - if it's anything like ours seemingly run by the Stasi - all hi-vis and clipboard dictatorship.
  19. As for the Accura 37 - looks promising if the QC holds up especially after the Hattons 66 disasters - the Helly 45 to rival the Modelzones should be a seller as there has been more than enough helpful "advice" from this forum.
