  1. Local Model Shop has gone for good. Freedom is well overdue and need a few bits and pieces - I'll risk it. As for the virus.....
  2. Does this include our hobby's exhibition circuit? Some say it really is time to get out of the Trenches.
  3. They were the business back then when were they first out 1990 at a guess? - look dated now for some.
  4. Admit. That does look well. But at what cost?
  5. Your right. It won’t. Gimmick obsession slowly creeping in. …….and when it all inevitably ceases to work as intended.
  6. Abarth meet Honister Quarry Lake District Jelly Bean time.
  7. Maybe the wrong category but these will be future classics - the ABARTH story goes back a while. A joint effort between myself and my son. He plans to eventually progress to an Abarth Spider but the 595 Turismo will always be a keeper. Above was as factory a few months back - things have progressed. Alloys and detail roof wrap with de-chrome. New drilled discs and BREMBO Calipers on order from TMC.
  8. No - that's copyright @Sandhills Jon surely?
  9. You'll learn. I still have to
  10. Well looking at the images from my picturesque neck of the woods it's a nice distraction.
  11. Well as usual. Your the forum know it all. Point me in the right direction. lm listening.
  12. Yes. But the WCML and generally BR were a mess till Branson. Brave to send something tonking down on ageing metals unfortunately and tragically Hatfield was the result no matter how you dress it up.
  13. How can you differentiate between any TOC? Rail fatigue isn’t fussy.
  14. Yes. One or two still do hold up reasonably well.
  15. Good Lord. Reading all this we've come a long long way and should be enough to end the bickering. Anyone remember Lima?
  16. Probably the latter. Lets "crank up" and whizz along a less than proven non production prototype on less than quality nick track in urgent need of a decent upgrade. I'm not saying life was more expendable back then.
  17. Well looking back - doesn't it cross your mind that the APT attempt was bordering on recklessness?
  18. Mr Biro - a new member looking at his posts. Obviously not sure of how things can sometimes work on here but I am sure he is well aware now. I would like to think he was not just expressing disappointment over the Guildex cancellation and more concerned over the general tardiness of all things in the country getting back to some sort of life normality. But we have to come out of the Trench at some point.
  19. I’ll have one. I’m at the wrong end of 50 and finish employment at the end of the year. Also my lifespan is finite. Want want want. We’re an impatient lot.
  20. Well done Jim - a job that most of us on here would like is a massive thing to lose. Ian
  21. He has a point - maybe exhibitions might be back on then too?
  22. All will be revealed....! Hopefully not as i've preordered - but tune in on here for the long awaited scything analytical dissertations.
