  1. 47595 “Confederation of British Industry” waits a space on a busy Monday morning Caerbannog fuelling point.
  2. On Caerbannog Fuelling Shed 15/09/86 27029 27034 26021 All long gone.
  3. All seems depressingly grim. Maybe we should just forget about Exhibitions? Until..........?
  4. I think the ticketing suggestion potentially moving to online methods via apps and the like might possibly be a bit too much for the elderly generations.
  5. Five years on. How things have progressed how times have changed - Railway Laserlines new Depot out soon - Time to revisit.
  6. It's not quite Winter yet John - But speaking from experience on here your very much walking on thin ice.
  7. Was just about to comment on the ballast work by Soutwich. Then caught up on the changes - Yes good to see the excellent build work continuing Chris Foillowing Ian
  8. Maybe you could've used spare matching cutoff sleepers? - and for the timber cover thin balsawood - it even has the woodgrain.
  9. Always thought drivers had to be keen on the brakes at Kyle......
  10. Nice work - I've been guilty as charged once or twice too. Can smell the industry if you know what I mean. PECO backscene looks well.
  11. IMBY Salwick Box and BNFL Groundframe all of course sadly gone.
  12. Yes. Looking forward to rakes trundling over the harbour bridge Andy. Is this modellers license or the real world. If so any prototypical images?
  13. In for a treat - an excellent day out. Gardens the BHLR Railway the lot - yes factory is on site. The drive down to Beer is steepish and there is a bit of gradient around the site. Good times - fabulous holidays past in Devon - family sadly all grown up and gone now. Memories.
  14. Always has been at the pricey end. Even as a teenager the paper round money didn't exactly go far.
  15. Fair point. It's the "Glass Full" situation and we obviously have differing perceptions. Like a few on here I expect - I'm at the wrong end of 50 - starting to creak a bit - but nevertheless immeasurably grateful of modern medicinal science and the double vaccine that has been duly administered (hopefully without problems) but time will tell on that one. At my (our) ages we are regularly reminded of mere mortality - 6 acquaintance lost this year (2 Covid - yes it does exist) and I found out yesterday that due to MS another wont see much of his Pension. Life is for living.
