  1. Not really, however it does seem to be a picture of the branch to Blairgowrie just where it leaves the main line at Coupar.
  2. Coupar Angus 1981 And I don't know what year this picture was taken (60s??) , but it's very atmospheric.
  3. I'm disappointed, there were no pics of the BRM crew pouting and showing off their cleavage.
  4. If you look at the last picture on this page you can see them! http://www.railaroundbirmingham.co.uk/Stations/sutton_park.php There's also a bit of history about the Royal Mail depot here with a couple pictures of the sidings. http://www.sutton-coldfield.net/sorting office.html Also looking on Google Street View it looks like the site has been redeveloped with housing, but the goods shed has been preserved and was for sale! https://tinyurl.com/yxfh7qqa
  5. You've done great work with timber baulks, especially with the grotty weathering.
  6. I've found this pic of Wymondham with a cement train in the loop. And I came across some other locations Dereham in the late 70s 1982 JCB shunting Fakenham 1980 1973
  7. These are slightly OT, but I took some pictures of the ICI site at Gathurst a few years ago to see if anything remained of the NG network. There wasn't much left, but you could see where the sidings led to the buildings where the explosives were stored?? Also I found a few bits of scrap rail hiding in some of the undergrowth.
  8. Has Chadderton ever had a passenger station though, I thought it had always been goods only? And wasn't Bells a private siding rather than a station goods yard?
  9. Just buy the N gauge version and you can sneak it into the house in your pockets, plus it's half the price of the OO version.
  10. Yeah, there is a thread dedicated to it here. Also there are some wonderful pictures here of it in the late 80s with a Railfreight Grey 50 pulling a load of Speedlink VDAs! http://www.cornwallrailwaysociety.org.uk/mortonhampstead-and-teign-valley-branch.html#
  11. I was struggling to find any pics of it in the 70s until I came across this beauty...
  12. Just a heads up that this is on tonight at 8:00 Yesterday.
  13. Did they finish their layout in three quarters of the allotted time?
  14. I've found a couple of Wroxham showing the yard, including one that shows it being shunted in 1983.
  15. Yep, the caption says "Note the brake van at the rear of the train used by the member of train staff during the trip along the Wisbech branch, where several road crossings had to be negotiated."
  16. Well there is this pic of a train from Wisbech at Whitemoor Yard which says that it is carrying fruit juice so....
