  1. It's interesting that some of the Farish items announced last year that were just reliveries of existing items, still won't be available in the next three months, yet some 00 items that have only just been announced will be available in the next three months. I think we can see what Bachmann is prioritising right now and it certainly isn't their Farish range.
  2. I originally went to the Bachmann website to see the new announcements and they've got a big "British Railway Announcements" splash on the front page, but when you click on it it sends you to a blank page!
  3. Yeah thanks, I realised that after I posted my comment.
  4. Wow, you've managed to capture of infrastructure of Didsbury perfectly, even with the Rhodes Clock Tower! Are you building the whole station?
  5. You have to be quick though as they've only got 76 of the 1st class coaches left!
  6. That the was the one that sprung to mind for me as well, although it was actually built as a combined road & rail bridge so it's not totally obsolete.
  7. I think I've worked out why the sleeper services have to be so heavily subsidized....
  8. Well the Availability link still exists, but when you click on it it just goes to a blank page, so perhaps it will return at some point, possibly after the new items announcement in a few weeks?
  9. They've rebuilt the website and I actually think that the layout is much better now. The only annoying thing is that items that have been released and sold out are tagged the same way as new items that still haven't been released with "Out Of Stock". I think that they should list as yet un-released items as TBA like they did with their availability page.
  10. You can set up the phone so that it automatically uploads the pictures to your Google Photos account where you can view/download them on a PC. https://support.google.com/photos/answer/6193313?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en
  11. Are you going to fit a drool tray to those display cabinets?
  12. I'll take the blame for highlighting them. In the space of a week I've discovered two things that I didn't previously know existed, both the prototypes and the models.
  13. From Carlisle in 1992. I'm guessing that the GUVs are being pulled in this picture. Crewe 95
  14. Yeah, I bet that even narrow gauge enthusiasts are thinking "that curve is too tight".
  15. Philadelphia NCB Slightly OT, but for some nice modelling details/inspiration....
  16. NCB 17 at Methil West 1968 NCB Wellesley Washery 1969 Denbeath Washery 1969
  17. Call off the search I've just found a better picture of it that gives details about it. "This batch of unfitted Covered Grain Hoppers operated by SGD of Windygates, Fife carried local numbers 6 to 48. The last two digits corresponded with their private owner 79xx allocated numbers but only five were thought to have lasted long enough to carry TOPS private owner yellow plate numbers. Those being SGD 7906/18/26/46/48." 31 ton Covered Grain Hopper Wagon. by Adrian Nicholls, on Flickr
  18. I was curious about the location in some of the pictures posted and It seems that it's the former Cameron Bridge station on the Methil Branch which looks like it would make an interesting model especially as there seems to a whisky distillery??? nearby? But this picture is particularly interesting because of the grain wagon with SGD on the side. Does anyone know anything about it?
  19. That's what I was wondering or like Gibbo said perhaps one of them was repainted at some time.
  20. Yes, I came across this list when I was trying to find out some info last night. https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Preserved_British_Pullman_carriages#/Pullman_1966_cars
  21. Apologies for hijacking this thread a little, but looking on Flickr I've noticed that some of the Brake coaches had blue ends whereas others had grey ends. Was this a later modification or was it only applied to a few of them??
  22. I suspect that they are bigger than your average Hudson tipper!
  23. I should imagine that now the price of the old version will drop significantly in the next year or so.
  24. If you search for Esholt Works on Flickr you'll find quite a few pictures of what remains on the site. Esholt Works 1973
