Difficult day turned into nice evening - came home to find that SWMBO had lit BBQ, beers and wine in fridge, friends around and Eldest celebrating 9th birthday with friends around, playing in garden and woods. Food cooked, beers and wine consumed; walk in woods, good chat and relaxation in garden on a lovely spring evening. Thank you global warming... bliss.

Spent the evening weathering with enamels. OK, so it was only track and ballast for a scenic plank... but I'd forgotten how much fun and free it is... I've missed it and now want to do more. Shame its so smelly on clean up ;-)
