  5. Hi Grahame Great work as usual. Will you be starting the layout at any time to go with these buildings. I am sure it has been mentions before but what paints and colours do you use. Alan
  6. Is there any news on the Mini-throttle and costing. Alan
  7. try severn models they do a tool set including wheel barrows. Their kits are very good and not too hard to build.
  8. Graheme A quick question have you used the Redutex til heet. If so are the tiles close to the slate size or are the tiles a lot smaller
  9. I am having issues trying too get hold of some Redutex Slate (N Gauge). DCC supplies are out of stock. Have tried Redutex direct but having issues setting up an account as I need a Spanish ID number. Has anybody brought direct from Redutex.

  11. Like you I will need a lot more info before I would even consider buying one of these and like you said what will the price be. Alan
  12. He states 16 locos per booster. I run with a Control sation and one booster so that would give possible 32 locos.Far more than I need. I now only use Zimo and the odd Lenzs depending on size(N Gauge). Its looks simple and can be used with computer control. Just think of not having to wire all those feedbacks. Alan
  13. He added 3 videos this week. Hopefully he will add more soon to explain more . I have subcribed to his page. Lets see if more info comes soon. Alan
  14. Only things I have found out watching his youtube is that it connections to your DCC system via ethernet and by the look of it it also connects to Wifi as he has his connected to a reouter. There is only one connection to the track for each booster section. It can controll upto 16 locos and I think I read on his website that he uses a different Function number to idenfy each loco. Thats as much info I have from youtube and the web site. I was hoping if anybody else had anymore info. Alan
  15. Does anybody know much about this new type of feedback. Looks interesting . Railmagic.com alan
  16. I have found you get a quicker reply for Ryan at ironplanethobbies. He is the US agent and responds very quickly. Alan
  17. Grahame do you still have it or have you sold it on. This has always been one of my favorite layouts.
  18. The emblaser will engrave very nicely but if you want to cut anything thicker than 2mm the emblaster is not he best option, you would be better with a C02 laser cutter.
  19. In the end I ordered a small layout 6 foot by 2 foot 6) partly built due to me not have very much spare time to built a layout. This consided of 2 ovals of track with a small siding, and a couple of lanes for the fiddle yard. Wired for dcc and ballasted. I could have order a full layout with landscape but I perfer ordan layouts so would finish it off in my own time. What I wanted was to e able to run trains straight away. I check all of the pictures and comments that were avaialble on their facebook page and ebay. All were good. What I got from thm was a disgrace. I asked for code 55 but I got only code 55 points. They used set track in places as well as Code 80 steamline. The layout would only run on the outer track and would stall on the inner track. The siding track was not even fixed to the baseboard and was floating causing a huge bump between 2 points (see picture). I tried to contact them through email and phone but they would never answer my calls. It was only till I took a case out with them with paypal that they got in contact but they only said all the the issues were due to transport. They did offer a £100 as a good will payment. During the 4 months that this took to make I never recieved any messages from them only when I contacted them and this was never straight away. Please be very careful if you are thinking of using them because what you see and read is not what you will get. By the way as usual paypal took the veiw of the seller even when they emitted they had brought the wrong code track and this is not what they usually do and should not had taken the order.
  20. Have you tried running them through the DR5000 App to see where the issues is.
  21. Hi Time Thanks for the explaination. What a great idear Alan
