  1. Has anybody had any dealings with them. Any feedback would be most grateful Alan
  2. Just love your work. one question how do you paint your brickwork. It looks like you don't bother with the mortar. Alan
  3. The unit was working very well on DC till I remove the body to fit a chip(now refitted back to DC). Now the drive bogie is not working correctly. I have check the bogie and it seems to have free movement. Motor is drive correctly. I think the gears are not Meshing correctly. Maybe I have dislodge something when removing the body. Any suggestion would be most helpful Alan

  5. I think I should mention Hatton's after sales service which all I can say is fanatic. I had a faulty Dapol Class38xx that started to smoke from the motor. I reported this last Sunday afternoon within an hour I had received a reply and a return postage label. This was shipped back late Monday evening and I received a replacement that arrived first thing this Morning. Now fully tested. Just to say that this is fanatic customer service an very happy with the replacement. Alan
  6. Yes they were. If you look to see what Hattons are charging for 2nd items that have issues you can see the sort of profit margin they are making. I did sort of work out roughly that I was being offer about £35 a loco £5 a coach and 2 a wagon. This does not include all the other stuff which include a lot of DCC items. Just to add a point most of my loco were DCC fitted and all in very good condition with only 2 non runners. Alan
  7. 20+locos 20+coaches 90+ wagons and a few other olds and ends. All 00 gauge
  8. I just finish selling all of my 00 Gauge stuff. After 4 quotes which I believed was well under market value (2 quote from 2 large shops and a couple from some smaller one) I have managed to sell my stuff within 6 weeks on ebay. Yes some time was needed to post and send but the effect was worth it. I have managed to make over £1100 profit (after ebay, paypal and postage) more than my highest quote which was for a store credit. Its up to you to decide if these shop are under pricing your models to gain max profit. I think you know what I think. I am now a happy bunny Alan
  9. Does anybody know if this is a common issue with DCC++, I was think of building one for just programming locos indoors away from the main layout which is in a shed. Alan
  10. Always my 1st place to look if requiring anything due to their excellent service. Its just a shame at the moment that their N gauge rolling stock is a little bit limited. But will always look on their site 1st before anywhere else. Alan
  11. A question for Ian Jeffery. Just seen the vid of the traverser. Would the be code available to use Alan
  12. No there should only be one on the mega (Uno needs 2). From Pin 4 to Pin 13. Have you check this vid Alan
  13. A never happy customer. Order 4pm yesterday arrived 8.30 this morning. Now just waiting for web site update of new N gauge stock before I make another large order. Thank you. Alan
  14. Just had a email from Nelevation. They not be taking orders till late summer 2019. So back to designing a normal fiddle yard
  15. I have also been think of ordering one of the med N gauge for a planed layout. But after reading a few of the posts I am not sure now. It seems they are have a very good product but their seems to be no after sales support or how to manage the business. Lack of emails replies , no lead times given, long build times, very rarely web site gets updated. etc. I would like to know from anyone who have received one what their dealing were like with Nelevation Alan
  16. Are Nelevation still trading. There web site states that they are not taking any more orders till they clear the backlog of orders they already have. This has been like this now for a few months. I have tried to email but have not had any replies. There's no new info on there site. Alan
  17. Quick and easy dealer but you wont get offered a lot. Ebay for a better price. I am at the moment selling items on ebay and I have all ready beaten my lowest offer and I still have half my stock left to sell.
  18. Just started to think about some new base boards> Not sure what to go with. Should I go with 9mm or 12mm Birch Ply. This is for the framework and Tops. Any help would be most grateful. Alan
  19. You best bet is to sell privately as you will not get anywhere near a fair price. What they offer is a complete insult. I am selling my collection myself privately now and at the moment I have already almost nearly meet the offer of one shop and I have not even put my locos or wagons up for sell yet (20 locos and 90 wagons). Good luck Alan
  20. Looking for a built N gauge layout that has a size around 12 to 14" by 2.5 to 3" wide. It needs to suit steam era. DC or DCC not a problem. Fully built or need finishing. Would prefer all track and wiring complete. Peco code 55 with electrfrog points is a must as I will be using DCC in the end.
  21. Eblaster 2 Has anybody had any issues with the mirrors. I had one fall out today while cleaning the lens Tried refitting but laser not working at all now. Not sure of correct position so more than likely have not put back correctly. The more I use the machine the more I wish I had not brought one. Not a happy bunny at the moment. Alan
