  1. The Hymeks were taken off the CDF - P HBR trains from the timetable change of May 1973. The P HBR - SALS services were extended to BTL taking 3H units through to BTL. They were not popular because there was no access to the loos from all carriages so the trains reverted to loco hauled with class 31's.

    Dapol Class 22

    D839 went BFY in May 1970 whilst D861 worked LD from LA to SDN in MSYP on 2nd Jan 1971 to go to Works for overhaul and repaint. D845 was Green until December 1969 and came out in BFY on 20/02/1970.

    Dapol Class 22

    I saw the 'dirty' one at Warley and (dont know if this has been mentioned before in this thread?) the only 'error' was new style modern OHLW notices on the nose ends (post 1980's). Transfers can simply cure that. The loco was just amazing.... mine is on order from Kernow and cant wait to hold one ;-) Now if Dapol produce it on 'O' gauge.... where do I go from here OHHH NOOOOOOOOOO........
  6. This train with 1048 was 6V06, the 08.50 Stoke to St Blazey and was the last 1000 hauled 6V06. 1041 worked 6V53 on the 31st December, 6th January '77, 1058 on the 15th; 1010 on the 21st; 1013 on the 24th, that was the last 'Clay' working to Bescot.
