Isn't the point of an RSU that I can use it with one hand ;-)

Has some items surplus to requirements.

Finally got the milling machine in pieces so that I can install replacement parts because no-one seems to want to touch these things. Now I have to obtain the spare parts, which after talking to the impostors should only be 2-3 weeks. Sigh.

Preparing a shopping list in preparation for AP this weekend.

Has put the most recent purchases in a cupboard: out of sight and trying to not let them distract me further.

I'm not intending to move. You haven't seen the mess I live/work/create in when upstairs! The problem is having decided I might like some sprinters one day I found out that GF had already released them and these things are, more often than not now, buy it now or risk eBay prices in the future. I do like the level of detail though, and if this is the reason there are so many diesel/electric modellers then I can understand why.

Andy, You won't have to wait that long, though I hope to have a couple of things finished especially for such a wondrous occasion.
Phil, It's different to a mogo. Whilst I haven't had to go digging in the gloat box(es) or cupboard stash I am clearing real estate previously occupied by a collection of stuff that has been started and left.
Jerry, You have to make your own call whether pets are permissible but I'm not sure full flow would be desirable for an animal, o...

An enjoyable day out at the AGM and the bits for my mill arrived while I was out.

I ordered 10, received 11, broke 4, fed the carpet monster the same, found 2, burnt finger, swore lots and have sore eyes but afetr a few trials and false starts there are 2 soldered in parallel atop a piece of micro tube and 3 spare so I win, I think: I have to see if they fit in the body of the signal when the next part is finished.

Wow 13 notifications, most about one post I made! Feeling popular rather than unlucky

This plastic wagon body was 8 planks and now 7, currently 17'6" o/h soon to be 16'.

not looking forward to this hospital appointment. Might go shopping for something out of the ordinary afterwards, if I can still see, to cheer myself up!

Had some crazy news today. On the plus side the Handel that I've had in my head for over a week has been replaced by another piece of music as a result.

Made further progress on Mathieson wagons yesterday. Not what I planned to do, but productive nonetheless.

parcels with lathe ancilliaries coming in thick and fast.

forgot to have eat this evening.

OMWB tonight: 20 coaches worth of bogie brake etches and 17 pairs of bogies. Where did the other three disappear to? I'm sure I put everything in the same box.
-
Bogie brakes all assembled awaiting fixing with a touch of solder. Time to distract myself to a different ongoing project ;-)

No Pete, and not guilty, Andy. I wanted to pick up a few more at the AGM but the peg was empty. My shopping basket was rather small actually: 40 buffers, 30 axles of wagon wheels, 3 packs of top hat bearings, A mink C kit, and a GNR cattle wagon etch. I think the brakes actually came with the coach kits over a year ago, perhaps two.
