Well I've arrived in Glasgow ready for the show and have an empty suitcase with me to fill up with this model - gonna buy 20 - 30 I think and hopefully make a packet on ebay to pay for my weekend ..................... Hello fellow modellers .... have been asked to respray this little oddity ...... 3830005653_10fd9cce24_z by Ben Cambridge, on Flickr my question is .... the roof - would you say its all over green and just grubby or is the roof something along the lines of Exec Dark Grey ???? Any help would be most appreciated. Ben

Lots of magazines these days produce a digital edition of their magazine - maybe there is scope to produce an electronic version which can be downloaded ?? Would certainly keep costs down and without trying to stereotype people - the people into modern image modelling may be a bit more technology savvy and have access to an iPad or similar platform (please, before you reply, im not insinuating Kettle lovers are technophobes etc). Hi guys - have just purchased a new layout and rolling stock and amongst this is a Dapol Class 73 - the pick ups need modifying and i believe there was a post on here which showed how to do it - but cant find it for the life of me ....... anyone point me in the right direction please. Cheers Ben

Must admit to being a bit disappointed - with all the fanfare I'd hoped it may have been a new loco as opposed to a wagon but then as a diesel era modeller this year has been nothing but disappointments for us ....... hopefully this will change in the not too distant future. Have completed the survey - lets hope some of my suggestions see the light of day in the future. Anyways, welcome to the world of model production - i wish the venture every success. Ben

sadly 436 has the wrong fuel tanks for most Large Logo 47s - so limited to a handful of numbers. 47444 has the correct fuel tanks so does open up a few more opportunities......... 47436 seems to be hanging around a while with most stockists still having plenty in stock - body shells are useful - chassis not so much so ......
