  1. That would be a Bachmann Dynamis and a fluorescent light. Worlds worst DCC, John
  2. It will manage turnouts and routes. My experience is that the twin throttle is a menace so I only use it as a single. It’s good value and anybody showing up at your railway with a suitable phone or tablet can run trains John
  3. I'm not going to differ. I think the current generation of Zimo decoders are well ahead of the opposition. I use Paul Chetter's sounds whenever I can. If in doubt telephone Digitrains -Jeremy and Nicole are nice people and they both know what they are talking about. I'm just a satisfied customer. John K
  4. Very nice Sandy. is it hand or transfer lined? John
  5. Correct - See grab above John
  6. Hi Transferman Are you a member of a club and what area of the country are you in? I bet we can find you some simple sensible help nearby John K
  7. Just take advice from 2 or 3 (or fewer) trusted advisers. Do not listen to everyone... ...and remember that some free advice is worth what you paid for it. John K
  8. Start by forgetting it's DCC. Just connect it all up, switch it on and run the trains. There are far too many people trying to prove how clever they are. If you get problems come to the forum and we can help sort it out. John K
  9. I spend my life telling people to come on Sunday. The real problem was last week’s snow which stopped the spiking of the over flow car park fields on the Wood Green site.
  10. The Exhibition Manager has asked me to post: Huge apologies to people who had to wait longer than expected in the overflow car park for the shuttle bus transfers. By lunchtime we swapped the 19-seater for a full sized coach and we will have the big coach doing transfers tomorrow to prevent a recurrence of the problem. We are grateful to those who were patient whilst we have had these issues and we welcome the people who will be coming to see us tomorrow.
  11. We have now been supplied with a bigger bus and have rapid transit to and from the additional car park.
  12. Pdfs of the bus timetables are now available here too. http://www.stneotsmrc.com/EAMRE%202018%20bus%20timetable.pdf John K
  13. One of the reasons that the Guild will thrive and prosper is that it is an open organisation that does not mute or silence criticism and comment. Stories of the size of the Guild's reserves are a touch exaggerated I'm afraid. John K
  14. Breaking News – addition car park Our Show is very popular so we have found a new area of additional car parking on hard ground (rather than wet field). Because this new car park is 700yds from the Wood Green gate we have also provided a shuttle service to and from the Show. This shuttle will be in addition to the vintage bus service running to the railway station. John K
  15. Hi Phil It's downloadable word But all is not lost; here it is as images Saturday first then Sunday
  16. Our webmaster has placed a downloadable vintage bus timetable here: http://www.stneotsmrc.com/2018-bus-timetable] John K I have now posted images for the timetable See below JK

  18. Mac is usually much easier than Win. Have you set the Decoder Pro Preferences. This grab is the preferences pane on my Imac (I'm not actually using Sprog - I set it up for the screen grab) John
  19. I have posted the flyer just in case I have omitted ant relevant details from elsewhere.
  20. I'm delighted to see the weather forecast for the 10th/11th is rather better than the 3rd 4th was. John

We will post details of Trader withdrawals for information at regular intervals. Traders, participants and visitors must make their own decision as to whether they feel able to attend. Alan Redgwick Events Chairman”
