It doesn't suit anything i model, but it will help to move some smaller scale modellers up to O gauge.
I hope the Kerr Stuart and Minerva flourish.

It looks a really great model.
There is a small detail you might wish to consider. On all of the Tilbury 4-4-2s the connecting rods are mounted inside the coupling rods. On the rear driver the coupling rod is bushed away from the wheel by the width of the con rod. This seen nicely in the photo of 2115 on p94 of George Dow's LTS Album, in Locomotives Illustrated No 101, and is also apparent in this picture

It's a feature that is frequently overlooked. The same design of apparently inside-out rods can be seen on the MR 4-4-0 Compounds.

Hi Steve,
You need Gauge O Guild Gazette Volume 18, No 11, Page 50 in which Paul Chetter describes fitting a Zimo MX645 sound chip into a Bachman Brassworks 03. There are detailed instructions and a parts list.
Best,

I have a lot of Tortoises under the baseboards all driven by three DAC20s from CML electronics.
http://www.cmlelectronics.co.uk/index.php/dac20
Each DAC20 will drive up to 8 point motors and costs £65 or £8 per point.
They are flexible and will do a lot of clever stuff too. The manual is available as a pdf download from the website.
No connection - just a happy customer.
Best,
John
The drop handle bar design was certainly extant in the 1920s - see http://classiccycleus.com/home/repair/bikes/
...and the Southern Railway sign may well have still been attached to that building way into the BR era.

An all new big model railway show in the East of England.
http://www.stneotsmrc.com/#!exhibitions
St Neots MRC are proud to host the first ever show at Huntingdon Racecourse.
We have selected some of the best layouts in the country and combined them with some well known traders to produce the biggest all new show of the year.
There is easy access directly from the major road network and there are huge public car parks.
Once there you will find all the facilities to be expected in such a venue.
Both of the grandstands will be packed with layouts, traders and demonstrations.
There is a free vintage bus service from Huntingdon railway station on the East Coast Main Line.
All levels are wheelchair accessible.

Hi Sandy,
I apologise if I missed it, but how did you solve the window etch vs. bonnet height problem?
Did you take a mill or two off the bottom of the casting?
Best,
John
Thanks Ken,
I think I may have to similarly narrow the back end of a Watford Tank, that I have started this weekend, to get it around some of my curves.
Cheers,
John
Hi Ken,
Can you show us what you did with the trailing pony wheels on the POW?
Did you pivot them from between the 2nd and 3rd driven axles?
Thanks,
John
