Just finished a cheer-a-thon of five cheerleading films in a row. I have learnt from these that all the hot cheerleaders in California drive VW Beetle convertables.

Whilst waiting to get into my carriage on the train home from work yesterday afternoon, only to find a whole football team trooping out first.... apparently they are called 'Sheffield Wednesday' and are playing in Exeter this afternoon, just in case this is of interest to anyone...;-)

Just had an offer accepted on a house. I have my eye on the garden for a very large garden-based OO layout. My partner suggested I buy a snowplough to run for the winter - I will of course oblige!

A signing in Bolton Waterstones tomorrow, and just been booked for signings in Chester, Warrington, Preston, the Metrocentre and Hanley. That should keep me out of trouble.

I am now £130 lighter and the car has a new brake caliper to replaced the seized one. Boy is the performance more spritely than the last week!

Sick as a parrot,hit a large pot hole other night in dark,bust tyre,wheel kaput,also damaged wheel bearing.am awaiting to here about insurance claim for it.went out to car today to find back tyre flat.Some days wish id stayed in bed !
