Eight days to go and it's at £205 already!
£250.00 and possibly rising....do some people not do any homework ? He could join the collectors club for £32.00 and buy one of the for £107.25..grand total is £ ???, well certainly nowhere near the £250.00 mark

Lovely signal box there my Friend

Their stuff alwaya seems to attract a number of bids straight away, even on 10 day listings which IS unusual for normal bidding patterns and then rarely fails to attract a really high price, to the extent that I personally automatically ignore anything from them even when it is an appealling item - I feel I'm not alone in the room in their auctions if you get my drift....................
I am glad I am not alone with this "train" of thought "excuse the pun", I did buy some Heljan dogfish wagons off Rails, they turned up damaged because the person who had packed them back into the 4 pack box did not put them into the inlay correctly, so they got squashed and damaged, anyway I pointed this out, and I was offered a 20% refund or send them back, I opted for the refund but...............received no feedback !!!!!!!!
Wow arsey or what.

Gostude sale of optimism strikes again........another of them well known Lima GUV "kits" that has been built to the highest quality, he has so much neck on him he has even left the £10.00 hand written price sticker on the box, probably just to keep the box pristine.

Back down to£5.00, 2nd bidder has bottled it "or finally realised" this item can now be removed from this thread As it is no longer ebay madness ??? is it ??

Just one point with this - these bids were placed before the 'additional information' was added by the seller - isn't there something about being able to withdraw bids if additional info is posted? Yes, I know it's been pointed out that it did mention 'box only' in the initial listing, but just a thought?
Mark
He has added the additional information that it is only a box after the bids, but in defence of the seller, he has put that it is a "Bachmann box from ....." in the title, and the original listing description says its a Bachmann Box from....,
But I think the seller has been taken by surprise of the initial bidding, and that is why he has added the bold "This auction is for the box only".
I did message the seller, he would be wiser to cancel the auction and relist whilst it is still a free listing week, this could turn very sour on him, once the winning bidder realises what he has actually bought !!!

Wow 5K for for an OOC bus model, now if the successful bidder pays by Paypal because he want's buyer protection, that will be a Paypal fee of 3%, that in turn is a £145.63 fee for Paypal, the seller will be well miffed off with that !!!!
I wonder if this item will relisted due to "winning bidder being a time waster". Watch this space.

First post on these forums so hello to everyone.
This bus is going for crazy money, is it ultra rare or has someone's child been a naughty boy at the computer?

Someone must really want this if it is genuine.
Is it your Bus that you are selling and you can't believe the madness of the bidding ?

Hi All
I have just been sat looking at the layout and thinking about it. At present the length is now 36 foot with this new extension on ( that includes the two fiddle boards, one at each end) and I feel that this may limit the shows that could accommodate its length. This could be a shame as I feel the loch side part will be good . So I may make either one or two other boards at the harbour end to make this into a further terminus layout that could be taken out independent of Gen Gillie, called something like Loch Inch, the abbey is going to be called Inchcome Abbey. Any comments from out there.
Cheers
Peter
Hi Peter, looking good, why not keep the layout the same length and call it Loch Manyinch. Just a thought "like"

I know the song says that 'dreaming is free' but he will be lucky with getting the asking price on this Bachmann item.
Look at the 2nd picture of the footbridge "the advert says it all".

As the seller of this item, (which I started at a very reasonable 29.99, by the way) I take exception to the unfounded and incorrect allegation of shill bidding. I also happen to know that you were one of the bidders concerned. The buyer is a very pleasant chap from Devon who I have had no previous contact with, and I'm sure he'll enjoy his full box when it arrives.
I suggest an apology and retraction might be in order.
Rightly so Dear Sir - You don't get a feedback score of 987 x 100% positive by "shill bidding", sometimes it may pay for some people to look at the sellers feedback history before making sweeping statements

Two word answer:
ebay madness
Cheers,
Mick
aaah but wait and see, Class 37 split headcode ends, on Class 37 TTG 37/0 bodies for less than £12.00 each ??? reliveried into other sector locos = priceless, still not yet modelled by Bachmann, sell the original centre headcode nose for for £15.00 a pair on Ebay.................so not too bad in the end, when you consider it is still £15.00 for an Express Model lighting kit.

He did well to get four !!!! As the Bachmann Collectors Club Website says "ONLY ONE MODEL PER MEMBER", yeah right that really stops this lot going on with Friends and such like.
Now it would be funny if they don't sell !!!!
