Anyone got a foot or leg fetish whilst buying some Hornby MK2 or Mk3 FGW liveried coaches

Blinking eck "that's the strongest language I can use on here", I was watching this item as well, I might have thrown £70/£80 at it, but then that's still a lot of work to do, ah well I'll go back to my DC kits converted 303 cabs and keep chopping up them Bachmann MK1's, and yes I know the Swindon built units didn't have as deeper windows than the Mk1's, but who sees them when they are bobbing along at a scale 60/70 mph, and its my layout anyway.
Truly though I bet the seller is chuffed with that, I emailed the seller about the kit, and he told me he has yet to put the Buffet coach kit on ebay more dosh !!!

Has anyone else noticed there is sudden influx of Blue Pullmans on ebay recently ? ...is there a new model due out ? .

My Team Bury FC "The Mighty Shakers" at home to The Bulls "Hereford United", going on our form which is consistent Away has been W D L, Home has been L D W, so that makes today a loss "probably" aah well you never know.
Good win last night for the Hatters "Mr Luton Town" against an in form "The Real Dons Club" Wimbledon, also Happy Birthday.

He has 91 items listed, all at pretty steep prices it would seem to me. And to others also as the total number of bids is 0....
I know this guy does seem to buy up bulk amounts of limited editions and then proceeds to make good profits on them "if he can sell them", But 18 TPO's is a big big big collection of this model, no wonder people can't get hold of "a" certain model, I suppose there will be people who will come on here and say "good luck to him, fill yer boots and all that", but in reality this is pure selfishness and greed.

Its no wonder people can't get hold off Red Bachmann TPO's this bloke has 18 listed on ebay !!!!!

Rub your eyes Tom, it's not even a 101, it's a 117, so inaccurate is the title
I saw this the other day it went on, I thought I will send this guy a message just to be helpful, tell him its a 117 not a 101, but then when I saw who the seller was I thought "something" him, this guys sells railway items for a living on ebay and you are telling me he has never come across a Lima 117 DMU in all the years of his trading, in my opinion with his description he is trying to kid somebody into buying something that it isn't "if that makes sense"

"Reasonable Condition"
The sort of thing I would pick up at a car boot sale for 50p, strip the paint of it and respray. (Did I just hear a 'collector' having a seizure in the background?)
Honestly, either we are missing a trick here somewhere and these things are truely worth this value for some unknown reason, or is it that these lunatic dealers think that people will pay these sorry amounts of money for junk toys, but more than likely there are some people who will pay it.

When in a hole it is advisable to stop digging.
Not my hole yet matey...just watch and see.
Cynical I may be, but as an Ebayer of very long standing, I view the provenance of this HST as unusual. It is rubbing shoulders with items for which there are only stock images, such as laptops and I-pods, and the seller has only one of their 4 feedback from actually selling. The phrase fire-sale was coined to describe a list of items like this, in my book.
Of the three from buying, one is for the purchase of this enigma, wrapped in a riddle disguised as a conundrum http://cgi.ebay.co.u...9#ht_500wt_1154
So maybe not madness, but certainly a little bit, how shall we put it... moody
Thank you Chard, I'm glad somebody sees it from a cynical point as well, there is giving people the benefit of the doubt and then there is this sale.
As somebody myself who has over 750+ 100% feedback on ebay "buying & selling" when you see something like this you sometimes whiff a rat, but if somebody off the RM Web gets their fingers burnt ! well I did try to help.
