  1. Not all kits are perfect, in terms of research, prototype or design quality. Most modellers will strive to improve, correct, adjust, trial, test or just personalise their model. The point is their model.. in a do what they want with their property sort of way Andy

  3. I explained once to my neighbours teenage son that until the late 1950's most of the world was Black and white. Colour was a relatively new invention. He said he didn't believe me... I said I had photographic evidence. He's off at Uni now so no permanent damage. Andy

  7. Sorry to correct you but the military railway serving the camps on the chase did not carry soldiers as passengers. Soldiers marched from hednesfaord or Milford stations. There is a photograph of workmen involved in the camps construction standing in open wagons and some evidence that the workmen travelled by rail. The railway was built to carry goods only. Andy
  8. Interesting choice of adjective... Incredible prices? That is their words In recent years incredible has come to mean good or wonderful, the definition is difficult or impossible to believe. This could be taken two ways, the price is so low we can't believe it or so high we can't believe it. Whatever the price I wish them every success, a project with accuracy at the heart of the project is a rare and good thing. ITs incredible Andy

  16. It was no different when we craned your narrow boat into the water even longer ago. The green gloss paint was still tacky on that day, I think there is a theme here. Andy
  17. Just flicked through the dozens of channels including the freeview offering and the pannier is better viewing Andy
  18. I spotted the original 1:24 kit yesterday in a shop called home sense. It was £50... Down from £99. I hadn't appreciated how big a model this is. £50 and it doesn't even fly. I like what you are doing with a smaller kit and the forced perspective. Andy
  19. It sounds like that 'documentary' from the 1980's. I think it was called BRASS. Andy
