  1.  I ordered some peco PT-61 what's the longest chain of these e.g to carry a Rapido apt-e at 1200mm

If you know the length of the track panels it's only a bit of maths.

  4. I got my head stuck in the scrap metal bin at work today. This happens from time to time, but today I came out with a reel of 0.3mm tungsten wire. Ideal rodding for semaphore signals. Result!

Depending on the size it's very good on the end of pick-ups.

Did you see the price £600,000. For an old building, that is not near a railway line.

  7. thinking about treating myself to a Dapol terrier in o gauge, maybe a wagon & yard of track..

      Go for it 2.

It would be better having three yards of track and a point.

  10. Definitely would not have liked to be in the Borders in th 16th century. Don't even think the Waverley route was there then.

      ozzyo

The Waverley route was there in them days, as it it was one of the best routes up the valleys.

Just because it's a railway line it does not mean that the route has not been used before.

How did he do that? When he was dead.

He must have tripped it up with his dead body.

  12. How long has the UK motorway network been virtually impassable due to congestion with traffic during the middle of a working day in August? Not even the usual day for going to or from your holiday! I gave up in disgust last Friday when driving from Devon to the Wirral, and left the awful M5 at Ashchurch, eventually trusting in the A49.

  13. Camera stuck down my throat tomorrow morning, oh joy!

It should not be a boil (a yellow filled zit) if it is get to a doctor PDQ. It should be a blister that is only filled with water, this normal. It will pop in a day of two and the skin under it will be a bit red but nothing to worry about.

Is he the one that lives in Cumbria?

In Cark or Cartmel, if so he probably has a betting shop as well.

Train to Dewsbury then a bus, make sure you get the fast one, the slow one takes an hour.

  19. Well... Payday on Wednesday! I'm off Thursday and SHMBO at work... I feel a trip to Preston and back with some DRS 37's may be part of the plan.....

  20. lift up hinged board or lift out..... undecided..

    1. ozzyo

      ozzyo

Lit up hinged board to cover the loft opening, but will only work well if you put it back in place. It hurts a lot if you don't and some times you only get one chance.

      ozzyo

Grease lot of grease, you may also want to add a bit of grinding paste as well.

    1. ozzyo

      ozzyo

As long as a good single malt what is wrong with that?

Now the trains bit could be a bit of concern.

    1. ozzyo

      ozzyo

You could try Piel island around this part of the country.

About 12 houses and one pub. Along with no roads. You can also get knighted by the King of Piel.
