      I had adblock whitelist RMweb to support the site, I've turned the whitelisting off to cut down the irritation.

    The carpet monster has officially driven me insane with its insatiable appetite for 4mm scale buffer shanks.

    Luckily I have a supply of spare Cambrian coupling mounts so will procure another bottled ale from the cooler and slice a pair of replacements.

      I did get rid of the carpet and put in nice hickory flooring. SWMBO went and brought a rug (you know what women are like for soft furnishings) Needless to say, the carpet monster is getting it's own back!

    There we were sitting at the little table having dinner out on the front porch when this humming bird flew right up to my face, looked me in the eye and proceeded to feed from the crabapple blossoms in the vase. 

    Those tiny critters can really cause quite a draft!

      It took me ages, (ok, nearly 3 full minutes), to find the tiny little "here" hidden in the middle of a long paragraph. Already voted - DMUs 100,123, 124 and some PW stuff.

    You could quite comfortably get three trucks in here so why not 3 layouts? Got the HiFi system pumpin out all my favorite rock-n-roll, aircon, bottle of cabinet on the go etc. There's just got to be a  better name for it than the Man Cave.

      You could try the www.stationcolours site. It will at least give you the info for the LNER and GNR, though what livery particular buildings were in the 1940s may be hard to establish.

    Beware when buying chinese electrical products that 1 could be 5. 2 might be 7, 8 is where 4 should be and 12 is 3 and 6 could be 11 or 12.
