Hi Mikkel,
What a superb set of pics. Like Buckjumper I love that last shot, the colouring and attention to detail is spot on to my eye. The painting of the fiqures is really top class and captures the character of the individuals.
Can I ask where you got the platform lamps?
Geoff.

Hi Stubby,
The building is looking really good, plenty of interesting detail which adds loads character.

I would carry on with them Missy, seeing as the whole layout is to such a superbly high standard you will most likely regret it later if you leave them out.
Mind you I'm glad I'm not the one assembling them!!!

I just don't know how you do it Missy in such a small scale, perhaps I should have gone to Specsavers!!!
Are we going to see the 9F next or have you something else in mind?
Cheers,
Geoff

Hi Missy,
Good to see that you and Highclere are here at last, I am most impressed with the Pannier is it reworked the same way as John Greenwoods articles in MRJ ? (I think thats the right name) The tank wagon is also a work of art............well the whole layout is come to that.
Backscenes as you say can make or break a layout, get it right and it opens up a whole new dimension. I was advised to go for a low horizon and lots of sky. So as to give a feeling of depth and space. Whatever you should decide to do then I am sure it will be up to your high standards.
Shame I can't view the Q1 yet but it will be something to look forward to.
Cheers,
Geoff

Now this is good news Nick, it has been a long time coming but I am sure it will be worth it
I see you plan to use the Exactoscale track components but wondered if you had considered the new Timber Tracks system from C & L Finescale ?
I agree with Nick (Buffalo) for being in favour of more Western branches, you can't have too many;)
The era you have in mind is very flexible and you will be able to use a vast selection of stock all of which will add to your enjoyment. With Hornby planning Hawkesworth coaches perhaps you could adjust the timescale slightly, just imagine one or two through coaches coupled up to the branch train.
Go for it Nick, I'm looking forward to seeing regular updates.
Cheers,
Geoff
