  1. Looking very good Al, cant wait to see some colour on there.
  2. Hi Jaz, sorry to read about the hands, and as for needles, well they usually peel me off the floor, hahhaha. Oh SH*** Blood test on 4th July, book the paramedics now.
  3. Yes yes mate more wiring please, whilst I cant see that well, then back to proper scenics in a couple of Months maybe, hahhahaaaaaeeeeeee. Bodge
  4. Hi Mike, no its the ripple coming down from the right of the Tunnel mouth down to the river, a couple of ripples appear to go itself.
  5. Hi Kal, Happy Birthday mate, hope you got a PROPER PREZZIE, not just some Graffiti, (you cheap skate Jaz, thinking you would just get away with that) hahhahha.
  6. Evening Mike, my first thought is that the colour is very good, Some bits of Moss here and there and some green on ledges it will be bob on mate. However I do have one small concern and that is shown up in pics 4 and 5, the grass in the right hand bank in particular this side of the Viaduct appears to follow the land contour under the overhang, and therefore the grass appears up side down. Now this may be my eyes or just a optical illusion, please put me out of my confused misery. I do like the overall effect though and I bet your glad you decided to to it. All the best and more pics please mate. Cheers.
  7. Bodge.
  8. Cheers Jaz, still looking at Buildings at the moment, some people that have seen the Garage say it must go, whilst others say it can be rescued and made good. I have a few plans drawn up from before the Stroke and so I have a fair idea as to what I want. I have such a variety of stock and interests that I need two Layouts. I like to work to a schedule when running for realistic trains and operation so hence the need for two Layouts. I also have a nice work bench / spray bench area planned so I'm not constantly moving stuff around to detail Locos or do weathering. I may just start a thread entitled; One Mans Model Railway Room. as that would cover the build, fitting out, electrics, storage and then the building of he Layouts etc. Its good to see you back on line, and back to Normal, whatever NORMAL is up in your loft, hahhahah. All the best,
  9. Yeah I can read text in small bursts, but I'm o.k. with brighter pics at the mo.
  10. Looking good Al, great to get some trains running. All the best.
  11. Hi Richard, I've not been posting of late due to the dodgy eyes and headaches but anyway, have a good show at the weekend mate.
  12. Hi Jason, thanks for posting the wagon pic in the Lounge, I just had to pop in here and have a proper look at these little beauties, great stuff mate, we just need to get young Jeff doing his own thing as well. More pics the better for me at the mo please. All the best.
  13. WOW Mike, just see what I've been missing, great rock work buddy, just love that effect, cant wait to see more with GRASS, hahahhah All the best. Andy.
  14. Gore Blimey Guv, I'll need crampons, overnight accommodation and a St Bernard to stray that far from your back door. That's one heck of a trek, 35 of you English feet sounds like a training exercise for the British Army to me.
  15. MIKE MIKE MIKE, Just read about the 4 inch nail in the LL, and I was HORRIFIED, I fainted in the Hospital when the nurse mentioned a Blood test, I don't like needles, especially 4 inch basta*ds! Get well soon but NO PHOTOS PLEASE.
  16. Will you be catching a BUS to the bunker, or are you having an underground tunnel like David Shepard the Artist has from his house to his Studio / Railway Room? It does look a fair distance from the House mate, but good to see the progress.
  17. Hi Cav, the Viaduct looks stunning, it still looks a bit blurred to me as I had a Minor Stroke at the weekend and I'm still seeing double. I have trouble reading text but I can JUST look at pics. All the best mate.
  18. Good Luck and enjoy, there's also the Garden in Swad for you to do. hhahhahaa.
  19. Hi Will, I doubt it, the car park and entrance fee alone puts me off, then most of the layouts I've seen before.
  20. Al, if you made a scenic fiddle yard based on say Peak Forrest as it was, it would lead naturally into the cutting and tunnel, but you would just need to shorten the twin track section between the road bridge and the tunnel in order to have a decent fiddle yard as well. A scenic fiddle yard is a great space saver and would work well for all your needs, both for train length, and quantity of stock. Just having the last foot as double track in a cutting, and at the other end you could do a similar thing but based on say Monsal Tunnel.
  21. Hi Al, great looking shed mate, nice colouring too.
  22. Have a good show mate. say Hi to Will for me as well.
  23. Hi Neil, just caught up with this thread, sounds like you have some good modelling potential there and a warm office in the winter would be a nice bonus, BUT will any work, work get done? Plans look good so far too. All the best with the build.
