  1. I've not used the harness myself, but I have looked up the picture. It should be green to two contacts one one side of the motor, and red and black on the other side.

Which two colours have you linked to your spdt switch? It needs to be red and black.

Confession time - I have a pl-11 . As a true Swallows and Amazons fan, I wired it as red for point set to left (port) , and green for right (starboard) . It would only change left. As a last resort I looked up the instructions and found that it should switch between red and black. It now works ok

Black is connected to two contacts on one side of the motor and its the Red and Green wires go to the switch, that is how mine are wired and they work fine.

  2. After reading a post recently on RM Web about gravity shunting it got me thinking if it would be possible to fit a Tenshodo etc motor bogie into a brake van to simulate the van gravitating onto the back of a train.

I would be interested to hear if this is possible to do or has been done already, I have also thought if the 'Fly Shunter' from 'High Level Kits' might be an option.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated

    Thanks in advance

  3. They are the individual Bits within the CV.

CV29, Bit1 is the direction control...

...but for reasons too complicated to describe here, Bit 1 is represented by the number 0 in Lenz world.

If you want to change the direction of a loco via your LH100 controller go into CV29 and see if the little 0 in the bottom of the display is showing.

If the 0 is showing press [0] then [enter] and the little 0 will disappear and your engine will go the other way.

If it isn't showing press [0] then [enter] and the little 0 will appear and your engine will go the other way.

    Edited for a typo

Had a go with this earlier, there was no '0' and pressing '0' then enter had no effect, will just change CV 29 instead.

Thank you for replying John, I will try that later today and report back, I thought I had learned so much with the Lenz 100 but it just goes to show there is always something else!
