morning all,not too parky here today ! and its not raining inside either !! boom!! well into the first job,very quiet as i left only the cat hurtling around like a a4 on drugs.......think hes trying to set the land speed record on climbing the stairs....as i speek some of m,y collegues have arrived and wait for it......yes the radio on full pelt bang,bang,bang.....its not music im sure? or im getting old..... have a good day all.

morning all from a cold and frosty chesterfield,quiet on to sheffield and although cold at least dry,even inside the garage which is allways a good thing ! love chrisf post how true......second born on way back to full steam after a breif bout of chestyness and everyone else is asleep as i left,managed to get the wd just about done,ill try and post a pic if i can figure how to,ive allways wanted to take the zephyr to the ace cafe....must get round to it one day,have a good day all.

Evening all...bit late on parade as well as being awol for quite a while...been sat watching jack building all sorts on mine craft fingers like lightning scarey for a 4yr old....blissfully unaware of the nutters trying to destroy everything in there path my mum said we had Hitler 60 odd years ago now this lot it's a pity we can't just get along...

morning all,been awol for sometime so appoligies,hope Alison is feeling better,and best to jock,im still catching up so itll take me a bit of time,quite cold but bright on the way to work,and quite dark and cold in the workshop as it would seem some of the strip lights have given up and the heating is off,still could be worse....jack is off for a couple of weeks and daisy is now crusing and desperate to follow him everywhere,ive even made a start on the wd again,might get it done in the next few years !! hope everyone has a good day and keep safe,regards

morning all,very wet here,early start as daisy decided it was time to play with the twirly woo boat at 4am........odd as although I was tied it was fun and she never stopped smiling!! jack slept blissfully though all .......the missis tried to !! finished new gearbox itting just waiting or sw to load and then test.....have a good day all.

morning all,cool and dry for once !! even the workshop roof has stopped dripping !! all quiet this morning as I left,lots of snoozing,had to fight my way past all the zzzz in the hallway !! nice to be back,had 2 days renewing the ac licence last week never too happy doing assesments and exams.....jack came home from school on about minecraft,hes only 4 ! ive taken a look online....blown if I can get my head round it! daisy is now starting to crawl,gone from a shuffle to sudden bursts of speed followed by giggles then face planting before having a go again!! have a good day all.

hello all,thanks firstly for all the kind wishes,daisy is home and doing very well,i think me and the missis are starting to come off adrenalin or what ever has been keeping us going !! managed to get a bit of man time with jack too,ahh back to work.......and all the smiling faces....not !! have a good day all,whats left of it !!

morning all,a very belated happy Christmas and new year to all,still catching up here,weve spent Christmas and new year in hospital,daisy was very pooly,but thankfully home and on the mend now,our heart felt thanks to all at chesterfield royal hospital for nursing her back to health,we can catch up on the festivitys......hope everyones had a good un' jacks wathing telly and daisy is fast asleep.have agood day all.

hello thanks for the replys !! tried Glasgow museum,the model is the original prior to building,the wheel arrangement was alterd substatialy prior to being built,they don't have the drawings either,ive contacted nrm but await a reply,the film is the second turbine loco built by nbl,ive got one of these!

hello does anyone have the drawings for the north british/parsons gasturbine locomotive being built for british rail in the late 50s? pdh did it but are now defunct....regards martin.

morning all,early start here as second born wanted a drink then didant then did.........this went on for a while then dropped off back to sleep......tea drunk and looking at a v40 that is also under the weather.....I wonder if calpol would work like redex used to?? I think we have consumed large ammounts of this recently.....hope everyone stays safe and has a good day.

morning all,cold and wet here,and that's just inside the garage.....4th trip to the doctors with daisy and finally sorted,amazing what the right antibiotics can do in just a few hours,caused me and the missis a week of sleepless nights....glad your appointmants are coming through jock,hopefully itll make things a bit better and nice to see debs on the mend,tea drunk and ramp swept,bring it on.....have a good day all.

morning all,a few days off,jacks gone to school,i told him I was going later as he wouldant be impressed if he thought I was playing with his cars whilst he was away! daisys a bit under the weather but seems to be on the mend,yet more issues of the mallard are missing and still no response from either wh smith or hatchette......we shall see,at this rate I probably end up scraping the standing order and scratch building the rest,we shall see,have a good day all.

hello I am also collecting this set,i have a standing order at wh smith and have all the bits in a box marked,but have 8 issues missing,e mailed hatchette but no response and several calls to wh smith and they just say its on order and hatchettes fault,im getting worried as there seems to be nothing but complaints about this company on the internet and people that never got all the parts,has anyone else had the same issues? regards martin.

morning all,thick as a bag ere....and all most all the way to work,been a long night with daisy making a trip to see the doctor with a high temp,turned out to be a ear infection,and once back home slept the rest of the night,so were both a little tied and ratty this morning,jack was blissfully unawhere......hope everyone has a good week.
