morning all,wet very wet here ! wet inside too,they fixed the roof apparntly! managed to get to club at the weekend and run a few locos,fury playing up with a intermittant short,so will take a look at weekend hopefully,looking forward to the weekend and a bit of time with the missis and firstborn.hope every one has a good day !

morning all,cold and wet here....again...sounds like don has had the most exciting time so far ! carnt remember when we had the last fire drill....the last thing i saw blow up was a engine on a very tired car....quite entertaining,would it sieze or pop before the oil ran out? it poped ! the owner said its not done that before ! to another passing motorist...

cool and damp,someone mention the black dock shunter....yeh had one...still got it too ! looking forward to showing our lad once hes old enough what its like storming around the track,curtains drawn so you can see that beam of light like a lazer ! not to mention the noise and sparks from the wheels ! some how modern stuff doesant seem as much fun !! bit like modern cars ! i must be getting old !

cold and wet here,also a little darker in the mornings too.....wont be long before im going and coming home with the lights on ! my little lad had best idea,looked at me and the missis enough to say dont even bother trying to move me yet,rolled over and back to sleep....... hey debs ive been looking at your site,nice to see a proper landrover ! better than that dodgy pretend stuff thats for sale !

cool and dull here,looks like it rained in the night,jack was having a conversation with gradmar as i left for work not sure what it was about,but sounded better than the drivel ive heard so far at work......spent ages playing with cars on the windowsill last night,much better than mending them!

morning all,cool here,not going to get into the classic car argument,got a 54 mk1 zephyr,not for investment but just to drive......never had the guts to add all the bills up ! but 22 years later its still going and still fun! current daily hack for last 6 years xantia 20hdi 157000 still going strong still gives over 50 mpg on a run and still very comfy! so while its wheels are going round im ahppy ! as for more modern cars there all the same.....over complex(driven by costomer demands mainly)and hence expensive to repair,only one small piece of advice as for the wheel brg.....beware cheep non genuine parts,there cheep for a reason......25 plus years in the motor trade so beleve me it might not be that expensive in the long run.....

morning all,cool and bright here,we get those red tailed bees occasioally too,dont know if they sting? dont want to find out! another day another dime......just seen a xc90 appear on a truck appantly the owner tryed to run it on petrol.....not advisable if its a diesel ! id rather be at the said tank museum !

morning all,all this talk of pies....getting hungry thinking about it! im with don....they should be messy,i think it makes them taste better.....bit like biscuits! managed to feed change and transport our first born this morning all without him waking up ! one little eye did a quick sweep of the room,probobly to see if dad had moved any of his cars! anyway back to it,poorly v50 awaits my attention,sounds like a class 08 when its ticking over !

cool and dry this morning,fed jack,fed rabbits and dropped him off with grandmar....not the rabbits....phone bill arrived...seems bt has found some new things to charge for.....think ive got the hump now...still its not raining !
